Part 1:
The Rothana Heavy Engineering built LAAT/i gunship that Twilight Squadron occupied shot forward through heavy flak being poured at them by Separatist ground units.
"Those Hailfires are going to be the death of us if you don't watch it, 'Reptavian'!" shouts 'Dirpanther', Twilights CO over the sound of the engines of their larty. "We got any missiles left on this rustbucket?"
"Yeah, you..." taunts CP 7/1286, who goes by the nickname 'Reptavian'. "Yeah, we have about four Light air-to-air rockets left."
"Use them!" demands 'Dirpanther' as he points at the nearest grouping of Hailfire-droids.
The remaining rockets burst out of the missile launch tubes atop the gunship and streak their way towards the Seppie forces. The rockets slam into the misslie racks of several Hailfires, detonating the payloads. The entire armored formation goes up in a blaze and the larty swoops in close to the surface of the planet. Badgen is heavily wooded, making it hard for gunships to land in any areas other then cities and fields. And the LAAT/i touches the ground, Twilight squad disembarks in a hurry. The gunship then takes off and heads back into space.
"Twilight Squadron! Secure the area!" barks 'Dirpanther' over his helmet comlink.
RC-3442 'Cyber', the squads' slicer/medic drops to one knee and pulls the DC-17m with blaster attachment and levels it infront of him. "Nothing to the south, 'Dir'..."
RC-3443 'Palin', Twilight's sniper/recon specialist deploys a pair of Commando recon droids into the air. The small black spheres jet up into the sky and begin transmitting images back to 'Palin'. "I've got an armored column heading this way. 5 AATs, 2 Hailfires, an MTT, and about three squads of B1 and B2 battledroids."
RC-3444 'Darius', the pilot/tech of the squad hunkers down beside an abandoned landspeeder and begins to hotwire it.
'Dirpanther', being the squad leader and demolitions expert, loads a clip of explosive rounds into his DC-17m Anti-Armor attachment. "How long until those tinnies get here?"
"ETA, five minutes." informs 'Palin' with a grim voice. "Hey 'Darius'... hurry it up!"
"Give me a minute, will ya!?" complains 'Darius' as he finishes hotwiring the vehicle. "Ah, listen to that baby purr."
"Alright commandos! Into the speeder!" barks 'Dirpanther'. He opens a comlink channel to the Republic transport Legacy of Ossus. "This is RC-3441 to Legacy of Ossus, patch me through to ARC Trooper Alpha-92."
"Patching you through now, RC-3441..." stated Sergeant 'Trioss', the clone comm officer for Legacy of Ossus.
"What do you have for me, 'Dir'?" asked Captain A-92 'Nightstalker', his ARC Trooper helmet tucked under his right arm.
"We've procured transport near the LZ. Heading to the target..." informs 'Dirpanther'.
"That's a negative Twilight. Your primary target has been neutralized. Adjust course for the capital city of Badglin." instructs 'Nightstalker'. "Your new mission is to help the 432nd Strike Force liberate that city from the Confederacy."
