The datapad also recommends that Kari and Amy be discharged from the Alliance Starfighter Command immediately and that the Rebellion deny any connection to them. Marcus has finally had enough of the vitriol expressed in the datapad and goes high order, swearing to take this up with Admiral Ackbar.

After Marcus shows him the orders regarding Winged Vixen Squadron, Admiral Ackbar is not amused or happy that the member of his staff dealing with starfighter ops has decided without consulting their boss to disband one of the more successful fighter squadrons in the fleet. He countermands the orders and rips the officer in question a new excretory hole with Marcus witnessing the chewing out.

Marcus has the Z-95AF4 Headhunters given a fresh coat of paint and several inspections per fighter to make sure things are up to his standards.

The fighters are found to be free of down-gripes (major problems that have to fixed before the fighter can be used), but with several different up-gripes (minor problems to be fixed as time permits).
