Today, for the last time, I tried to join Deviant Art; won't let me. The reason is that my ISP address was shared with a particularly problematic member, and my ISP provider cannot ban individual people, or something like that. I have known of this ban for over 4 months, and every now and then, check to see if it has been lifted; it hasn't, and I don't see them lifting it anytime soon.
Just as well, my artwork isn't exactly what I would call stellar (at least, not yet).

Something interesting happen to me today on DA. I decided to try one last time to see if I could get an account there, and rather than bring up the "ISP is banned" screen, it brought up a standard registration method form.
Right now, I'm mulling over whether or not I should join. I'm thinking of actually doing so. I'll think about it some more, and by tomorrow I should have my decision made.

I still haven't yet decided what I want to do, pertaining to Deviant Art. I think I'll wait until I have more artwork completed, as most of what I have right now is just sketches.

I think you should join so you can start keeping track of those you want to watch over there.

That's probably a good idea, if not, a great one. There are indeed people whose are I like to look at over there. I think I'll create my account later today, or tomorrow at the latest.

I know what the banned IP address feels like.... However, I suggest that you get onto DeviantArt as soon as you can. There is such an amazing repository of creative talent, from all mediums of entertainment and artistry, that I cannot justfully put it into words. There are so many amazing artists with their own styles and limitless imaginations.... I am proud to be a member.

I tried to create an account just now, but after filling out my information, it gave me the ISP banned screen again. Looks like it will be a little while longer until I get an account there. Why they couldn't have given me that screen first, rather than give me hope and take it away, I don't know.

That's too bad.... Maybe they haven't lifted the ban because they have forgotten about it.... I suggest that you try and get a message to them, asking to lift your address because you want to join. It might not work, but it's worth a try. Believe me, it IS worth it....

In about a week or two, I will be getting a new ISP. Hopefully, that change will allow me to create a DA account.
This is good, because I have some artwork that I'd like to show people that's in a sketch book of mine.

Well, I pretty much solved the art scanning problem by INKING the drawings, rather than drawing darkly with a pencil. Hopefully soon, I can get a better editing program too.
Anyways, once I feel that I have enough art ready to show, I'll start a DA account; hopefully this weekend will be when I finally join the massive ranks of artists there.

And massive ranks there are.... It's incredible, dude. There's so many people to bounce your stuff off of, and get opinions from.... It's great!

Yes, it is great. In fact, the only downside that I can see is that you can't remove other people's comments from your own drawings, journals, etc.
I found my flash drive, so I should be able to transfer the files from my computer to the one with the working internet connection.
My target date to create a DA account is this Saturday. Hopefully, I'll be able to do that.

After seeing the price of the art programs that I was going to get, I have decided not to get them after all; too expensive for my tastes. Anyways, I still plan on creating my DA account tomorrow, which means that I need to put the final touches on my drawings tonight.

It seems that I have underestimated the ineffectiveness of my computer's current art programs. As a result, I will not be able to get my art ready in the time period I thought I would. Hopefully tomorrow I will have it ready.
