Just wondering if any of you all were going to FURCON 06. I'll be there with a few buds of mine.

Since I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, the process of traveling to the convention should not be a problem for me. I intend to stay the whole time this time rather than just a single day, so I really should book a hotel room when I have the time.
Apparently, the theme this year is the Medieval/Renaissance era of human development. I was hoping that it would be sci-fi, but that's just as well; my game won't be ready for distribution in time for this convention. 2007, perhaps. 2006, no.

Yes, well... IT will allow me to actually play some Ironclaw. *w00t* And then meet artists I've only chatted with online and such.
Still, it promises to be good fun.

While I don't have Ironclaw, I do have the latest edition of Albedo, which is made by the same company, so I am framiliar with the rules. That is, if they use the same rules, which I think they do.
Speaking of meeting people, I pretty sure that one of the siminars from 2004 that I went to was given by Eric Schwartz (spelling?). Either it was the actual guy, or someone with the exact same name.
You've actually chatted with major furry artists online? Wow. I'm too timid to actually do that.

My hotel room is booked, so that means for sure that I will be going. Anyone else going?

The odds are highly likely. Although, there is still a chance we may not... I am endeavoring to get into several games of Ironclaw, though.

So then, should we plan to meet each other somewhere so that we can get to know each other in real life, or should we just rely on random chance for that?

Hey, I'm a real furry artist! Heh, just kidding. Alas, I am only one of the lowly folk who go to these things because they merely enjoy the experience, and not because they get into costume and know everything about everyone.... Of course, I'd take a feathered hat and a rapier any day of the week.... But I don't think I'll be able to make it. Sorry, dudes.

I am at FURther CONfusion. Anyone from the boards who is at this convention, if you want to meet up with me, I will be here until late Sunday evening.

I am now home from the convention. While I did have fun, it's not the same without having friends to tag along with.
As for what I got, I won some art bids, and purchased several prints of other artists work. Lots of other artists work. I also picked up the Ironclaw package deal they had.

I just got back today... I didn't see you Cyberpal, where'd you manage to stow yourself? Or, did we bump into each other and never even notice? *chuckle* I've done that before...
As for myself, I hung about the gaming room. I'll give a better detail in my blog... Sometime...

I checked out the gaming room a couple times to see if you were there. I must of either just missed you, or left a bit too soon.

*facepalm* Of course! I should have mentioned that I was using my primary alias of 'CyberStorm Alpha' instead of 'Binary' because more people knew me the other way... ^__^;;

Next year, I'm going to try and remember to wear my tiger costume, consisting of ears, tail, and a bow tie. Not really much of a costume, but it's better than nothing.

It was a lot of fun. I got to meet my ol chum Binary, and went to a lot of interesting panels. So I guess the big question is, who thinks they can make it next year?
If at all possible, I am so there. I'll probably able to meet with another friend, a Britifur that I'm working with to start a Trek Fur group in Second Life.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so it is quite likely that I can make it next year. Should we perhaps coordinate plans this time?

Eating is fine, but please leave the Gagh (sp?) behind. Worms are for the birds, of which I am not.
