What came out of the chambers couldn't be dodged that way...
A slew of seismic(sp?) charges came out of them...

Nik only barely managed to pull up his fighter before the charges detonated, bucking his starfighter from the rear and blasting some panels off of the bottom of the craft.

In order to avoid the balaster bolts, Nik turned his starfighter sideways, while firing a torpedo at the Sith vessel.

The torpedo's tracking systems temporarily lose their lock on the Sith vessel, but compensate for the change and circle around behind the Jedi Slasher. Meanwhile, Nik banks to Galactic East as the enemy approaches, and narrowly misses the other ship. "This is getting us nowhere...." He notices a small moon below him, circling a barren rock world. "R3, does that moon have a breathable atmosphere?" The droid beeped a "yes", and Nik smiled. "We are both more agile on our feet, I am sure. Prepare for landing." All the while, Nik watches behind him....

Nik's fighter jolted as it went through the atmosphere. I must discover this Sith's mission, he thought, if I am to save Senator Klevin. He sighted the surface of the moon, and began skimming across the surface.

IC: Nik found a small clearing on the surface. So as to blind his pursuer, he launched several flash charges from his fighter's rear, and landed in the ensuing brightness.
