While the Sith blocks the flames, Jesic uses the distraction and detinates the crashed speeder she had stolen, which is now just behind Trident, Jesic still hammers away at her target with the flame thrower, in order to keep him occupied while the speeder would inflict damage to him.

The Force push sent her flying into a wall, breaking her left leg in three areas. The injured vixen let out a yelp of pain as she showed her teeth.

Varick gets out his blaster. He intends to use it to provide covering fire for both him and Jesic to escape.

Jesic ignites the lightsaber that was taken from a fallen Jedi several years ago, and prepares to fight. She thrusts the green blade at the Sith's chest.
At the Jedi Temple, Horkon and Zul, now full recovered from their encounter with Grievous, are in Horkon's quarters eating breakfast.

ooc: Uh, I didn't say that I opened fire, just that I intended to do so.
"Jesic, try to crawl over to me! I think my jet pack can get us both out of here!"
He aims his blaster at random places at the Sith's body (but not opening fire), hoping that that will distract him.

ooc: I'd normally reach out and ask Jesic to grab my hand, but knowing the Sith, I'm not doing that, because what kind of Sith wouldn't take advantage of the situation, by slicing off my hand as I reach for Jesic? As for Varick's comment, I heard the Red Baron say that in a game that I play, and felt that it would be interesting for Varick to say, given the circumstances of this situation. And yes, I do know that Lord Trident is a porcupine; I'm using the word swine in a non-literal fashion.

Tridents lightsaber strikes home, just under Jesic's right breast, she howls in pain, tears are forming at her eyes. He reaches for her blaster, only to find it was cut in half.
In the Jedi Temple:
Horkon: Kami, gather whoever you can. I'm going to talk with your master.
Horkon and Zul leave him quarters and arrive a Yumni's quarters.
Zul: What is it?

Varick lets loose some obscenities at Lord Trident, then opens fire with his blaster ...at the chandellier above the Sith. With its link to the cealing gone, it fall towards the Sith.
ooc: I hope I didn't offend you with the swine comment towards your character.
