D'oroth Thi is knocked back by the blast and onto the floor. Fortunatley, no serious damage is inflicted upon her.
ooc: Did one of the Imperial troopers fake his surrender, or did a dying one drop the grenade?

ooc: He is dead.
ic: Marcus gets up after being knocked over by the blast. The air is getting thin in this area of the ship and he notices a small hole in the hull.
Marcus: We need to get out of this corridor and close it off.

D'oroth Thi: "Imperial or not, they all at least deserve a decent burial. I'll have the dead moved to a part of the ship where they won't disturb anyone."

D'oroth Thi has the bodies moved to a part of the ship where they won't disturb anyone, so the corpses won't suffer disfigurement from being exposed to the vaccuum of space, and then makes sure no one is left in the corridor. After doing this, she has the corridor sealed.

"Captain Ral, engines reaching critical mass. We must drop out now!" The captain nodded. "Drop out of hyperspace. Get me Gold Leader in our fighter squadron". There was a flurry of activity as the crew prepared for battle, then the communications officer looked up from his console. "I can only get a weak signal, sir.... The jamming field is still in effect." Captain Ral ran to the terminal. "Gold Leader, do you copy?" A garbled message came over the speaker. "--ld Lea-er here, sir". "I want you to engage as soon as you reach the target. We will arrive in six minutes. When we do, cover us while we send troops to the Hope." "Ackno-ledged, sir-." "Good. Scarlet Republic out". As the comlink went quiet, Capt.Ral looked out his forward window. Master Vecto joined his side, and they both gazed into the immense starfield before them. "Now", Ral said, "all we can do is wait to get there. Make whatever peace with the Force that you can, Master Vecto. We are all going to need it." ------------
"All wings cut out of hyperspace on my mark. 3,2,1, mark." As one, the squadron of 21-B "Dart" starfighters dropped out of hyperspace, finally reaching the battle before them. Gold Leader Kor Vali called again to his fighters. "All wings report in." "Gold three. standing by." "Gold 13, standing by." "Gold seven, standing by." "Blue two, here." "Blue Leader, checking in." "Red nine, calling in." "Red Leader, ready for your orders." 14 more fighters checked in, each part of the three groups ready to attack the Imperials. "Lock S-Foils into combat positions". One by one, each fighter's two wings swung forward from their folded positions in the back, and the mighty blast-cannons they carried pivoted out along the sides, ready to fire. "Let's form up and go in. Red group, try to take out the docking clamps on the capital ships. That should stop the Imperial troops from entering. Blue group, stick with us. We're going after the fighters." "Roger, Gold Leader. Breaking now." The fighters assumed their new positions as Vali called in to the resistance fighters. "Badgenese fighter group checking in, Hope. Get your people away from the docking breaches. We're going to blow the docking clamps."
