Sashee Sensenbrenner, a Golden Retriever, is currently on her parents' royal spaceship, being piloted by a Solauranan royal family advisor towards Coruscant.
Advisor: So, you want to become a Jedi, am i correct?
Sashee: Yes. I want to learn the ways of The Force so i can find my parents' killer, and give him a taste of his own medicine.
Advisor: I may know nothing about the Jedi, but i assume you can't just go in there and say that you want to be trained.
Sashee: Hate to have to.

A pair of the new Eta2 Actis-class Jedi starfighters come up behind the ship as it enters Coruscant's orbit. General Sunskimmer is in the lead fighter.

Pilot: This is Gett Haygert, an advisor to the Solauranan royal family on Groznica. I have Princess Sashee Sensenbrenner on board. The Groznican citizens of the Anubian and Hariyunan regions just joined forces and led a revolt against Solaurana. The king and queen were among the casualties. Sashee got a good look at the killer, but she's too young to fight. So, i agreed to take her to Coruscant. She wants to learn the Jedi ways and avenge her parents' death when she is old enough to fight. Is that okay with you, General?

Nik's voice buzzed in on Horkon's Jedi Temple com channel. "It sounds like they want a baby-sitting service, Horkon.... Escort them down here so we can question the girl, but promise nothing else. We need to make clear what life as a Jedi means".

Horkon: Will do old friend. Alright Gett Haygert, follow us in. I just don't know why she wants to become a Jedi. We're at war with the Seperatists and the order is stretched thin at the moment. Is the girl even able to use the Force?

Perhaps Sashee Sensenbrenner is Force sensitive, and that her parents kept that hidden from the Jedi so that they could keep her.

Haygert: Well, here we are. If any Jedi asks you why you want to be one of them, don't mention the coup on your home planet. If they know you want to seek vengance, they won't train you. So i suggest you get over it.

(The young Golden Retriever then pantomimes some lightsaber moves, but accidentally bumps herself in the face and falls over. She then gets back up.)
OOC: Does this take place before or after Horkon loses his eye?

As soon as Sashee sees what Horkon and Zul have been through, she speaks up.
Sashee: (tsking) Lightsabers will do that for you. They're very dangerous.
Haygert is surprised. Sashee has lived with her parents on Groznica all her life, so how does the young dog know so much about the downside of owning a lightsaber, much less anything about the weapon itself?

Meanwhile, Nik Vecto stood before the Jedi Council. Masters Yoda, Windu, and several others were present in the Council Chambers, while a few holographic projections represented the Jedi currently on the battlefield. Nik began to speak. "We have allowed a ship from the planet of Groznica to land at the Temple. The passengers are refugees from the Royal Family and staff, fleeing from a recent revolt on the planet. The King and Queen of Groznica were killed by the revolt's leader, whom one of the passengers, the King and Queen's daughter, believes to have seen before her escape." Master Windu looked hard at Master Vecto during his report. Nik could feel his thoughts.... This sounded more like a matter for Republic Police, not Jedi. Master Vecto hurried to the point, not wanting to lose the Council's interest. "The Republic's Investigation Force has already denied the Princess' suggestion of the murderer, and she has come here to ask for our help."
The Masters around the room looked at each other, sharing their thoughts with the other Masters in the room. Finally, Master Yoda spoke. "In special matters, lenient must the Jedi be. Before the Council, bring this princess. Question her we will, about her parent's killer." Nik nodded, but opened his mouth to speak again. "The girl has also requested to be trained in the Jedi Arts to enact revenge on the killer. We have informed her and her guardian of the Jedi's views on revenge, but she has insisted on being trained. Master Sunskimmer has informed me that she wishes to see the Council about this matter."
Yoda spoke again, after a moment's reflection. "During our interview, perhaps ease the princess' thoughts we can." Next, Master Windu spoke. "We will inform her of the disciplines of the Jedi Ways.... She might rethink her career choice then." Windu then cracked a smile, which Nik and the others in the Council returned. They all knew the responibility of knowing the Jedi Ways, and had only too often known what could lead even the most promising pupil to death or the Dark Side. Master Windu spoke one final time. "This Council is adjourned." The members slowly stood up, and left to go about their duties within the Temple. Master Vecto left with them, and dialed Horkon's frequency into his comlink.
