"So predictable," Matt sighs theatrically as he blocks Durge's first attack, then pushes him back with Force Wave before moving to attack Durge himself. "And if you're gonna use a lightsaber, Durge, learn to use it properly so that I can actually get a challenging workout."

Durge roars and charges at Matt, with lightsaber in one hand and a blaster in the other.

Barquan, who has followed Matt out of the command center, shoots the blaster out of Durge's hand, destroying the weapon in the process, which further enrages Durge. Matt follows up with a technique that had gotten him in hot water with the Council during the Mandalorian Wars, Force Lightning. Durge is not having a good day... and retreats slightly to consider his options.

"Well, that isn't very Jedi-like, welp." comments Durge "No matter, I'm still going to kill you."
The bount hunter again charges at Matt, this time holding the lightsaber out forward like a lance.

"I fought in the Mandalorian Wars, moron," Matt responds, dodging Durge's lightsaber.

Durge laughs and swipes the lightsaber blade at Matt's backside.

The blow doesn't land, being intercepted by Matt's Padawan Learner, Mara Swift. Matt responds with a precise blow against Durge's stolen lightsaber, destroying it, and rendering Durge out of melee weapons at the same time. "I'll be back!" Durge roars as he retreats.
"Yeah, yeah, and when you do, I'll be waiting for you," Matt mutters. "What's the damage to our forces, Barquan?" he asks his troop commander.

"Frakkin' lancer droids took out a third of our overall forces." says Barquan.

"Ouch..." Mara mutters with a wince at Barquan's casualty report.
"How many KIA and seriously WIA compared to walking wounded?" Matt asks, seeking clarification of Barquan's report. "And how come Intelligence missed this lunatic's prescence?"
"Master, I think Durge was covering for someone else..." Mara says, her face scruched up in concentration. "It feels like there's a massive knot of the Dark Side nearby."

"Well, this is the bad part sir, that one third of our forces is all KIA" reports Barquan.

Matt's jaw drops from shock. When he calms down, he says, "So we're down a company? Alright, leave one company here to guard the camp, and the other comes with us to investigate 'knot of the Dark Side' Mara's feeling, which, if Sakura's journals are correct..." he indicates his datapad, which contains the collected journals of the Exile. "...and they have been so far, is the Tomb of Freedon Nadd, which members of her team looted rather thoroughly a few years after Revan vanished. The ambient Dark Side energy from the Tomb could cover up more nasty Sep activity, but that energy shouldn't be able to leak out of the Tomb... I don't like this situation at all."

"Barquan, leave Charlie Company to guard the camp, and we'll take Alpha Company with us," Matt decides before giving the order to move out.

"Barquan, when we return to Coruscant, remind me to ask for another company of troops to replace Bravo Company, and for a couple of Commando teams to be attached to the Battalion," Matt says as they head for the Tomb of Freedon Nadd.

All too soon the company reaches the site of the Tomb of Freedon Nadd and find it heavily defended by B1 Battle Droids and B2 Super Battle Droids. "Barquan, deal with the droids, Mara, with me, we're going to enter the Tomb," Matt orders. "Barquan, when you've finished the droids and seen to perimeter security, catch up with us in the Tomb, I've already sent the schematics from Sakura's journals to your datapad." He and Mara then fight their way into the Tomb.

Matt and Mara enter the Tomb. "Odd," Mara remarks as they walk through the Tomb. "You'd think the place would be defended."
"According to Sakura's journals, the Sith of her day actually had troops in here, but it looks like the Separatists don't have any defenses in this part of the Tomb," Matt responds.
