ooc: This RP will revolve around the Battle of Vulpan when Order 66 is given to Rancor Squad and the 492nd Heavy Hitters. Of coarse the commando squad disobeys the order and they turn on their former brothers.

General Alis Kaist stands on one of the catwalks in the massive hangerbay and just listens as the large grouping of clones join in singing "Vode An". The only clone not among them is Kaist's lover, a Republic Commando designated RC-1294. But to Kaist and the other members of Rancor Squadron, he is known as "Chief".
RC-1294 "Chief": What are you thinking about my love?
General Kaist: I'm thinking about our child... if the Council was to find out, who knows what would happen. That's why after this mission is completed, I'm leaving the Jedi Order. And what about you?
RC-1294 "Chief": Where you go, I go.

"Hunter," "Melee," and "Scar" are having a conversation.
"Hunter": "Have you noticed something odd about 'Chief?'"
"Melee": "How so?"
"Hunter": "He and Kaist have been quite close to one another lately."
"Scar": "Are you suggesting that 'Chief has been recalibrating his decce with her?"
"Hunter": "..."
"Melee": "You can't be serious, Jedi don't do that sort of thing."
"Hunter": "I'm just saying that they've been very close to one another."
Soon, the conversation takes a change of direction towards the comming battle.

ooc: It is good as is.  ic: Commander Di'kut: Ten-hut! Listen up you [censored][censored] meatbags! We have been requested by the Vulpanian Consortium to help rid their world of Separatist forces! Two commando squads have been assigned to help us with this operation, Rancor Squad and Mynock Squad, their goal is to sabotage the enemies heavy units and provide backup if things get hairy. There are also two Jedi assigned to this assault. Senior General Tra'Sis and General Kaist. Commander Di'Kut has never trusted any Jedi and harbors a secret hatred of them. Meanwhile Kaist and "Chief" are busy doing something that is not regulation. |

Commander Di'kut: The enemy has launched a massive invasion on the planet, so we are looking at opposition in the several hundred range. Does that answer your question, moisture-boy!?

As the briefing continues, the commandos of Rancor Squadron are wondering why "Chief" and Kaist are not present. Considering who is giving the presentation, they don't blame them for not coming.

RC-1294 "Chief": Typical Di'Kut... Always putting commandos in the worst areas of the fighting. We were trained for covert ops and insertion. I think old Commander Di'Kut is a few rounds short of a full clip.
General Kaist: I always feel uneasy around that guy. There's just something about him... I don't know...

"Melee": "I wonder why 'Chief' and Kaist weren't at the meeting."
"Hunter": "Well, you didn't like my theory earlier"
"Melee": "I still say that it's impossible for them to do that without the Jedi Council knowing about it."
"Hunter": "Wanna bet?"
"Scar": "Knock it off you two, now's not the time for this."

General Kaist arrives alongside "Chief". Kaist has a sniper rifle sling over her shoulder, an unusual sight for a Jedi.

General Kaist: For this mission, even we Jedi must use such weapons. I still find it rather primative though.

Rancor Squad boards their LAAT/i, along with the rest of the Republic forces in the hangar bay of the Mandalore. The gunships take off, and the mission is on its way.

"Mad Man": Alright! This is were the fun begins!
The LAAT/i gunships enter the planets atmosphere and avoid incoming fire. Rancor Squads gunship touches down near the planet's capital. Several LAAT/c cargo variants deploy their AT-TEs and other ground vehicles.

The commandos get out of their LAAT/i and begin to secure the area. Already, their pressence has been detected by the Seperatists, and a large force of droids make their way towards the landing site.

B1 Commander: There they are! Blast them!
B1 Battledroid: Roger, roger!
The droids open up with all they got. An AAT fires a missile at the group. Kaist strains as she stops the projectile in mid-flight with the Force.
General Kaist: T-take i-i-it out! I c-can't hold i-it much l-longer!

The clone commandos blast the missile out of the sky, and then proceed to take on the droid forces that have been sent out to fight them. They take cover and fire away, destroying many droids.
