Starkiller turns his head around and looks at Ruu Bii.
Pharnis: I am glad I can trust someone other that my wife with this secret. We should probably get back to camp before Lord Hoth sends someone to look for us.

Ruu Bii: "Agreed."
Meanwhile...
Darth Bane: "Air assaults, flanking attacks, you are sounding like a weakling rather than a true Sith Lord, Kaan."
Lord Kaan: "Oh, and do you have a plan worthy of my attention, Bane?"
Darth Bane: "Yes, behave... or at least act, like a Sith."
Lord Kaan was furious at Darth Bane. This servant of the Dark Side was becoming more than a nuissance to him. Something would have to be done about him.
Lord Kaan: "We will attack at dawn, using my plan, with, or without you, Bane."
Darth Bane: "So be it."

As dawn approaches, Jedi sentries detect movement approaching their camp from two directions; it would seem that the Sith are finally launching their attack against the Jedi and the Republic. The alarm is sounded.

Pharnis runs out of his tent and ignites his lightsaber. Lord Hoth prepares the defences for battle.

Ruu Bii prepares herself for battle.
Meanwhile...
Lord Kaan leads his troops from one of the flanking units. Darth Bane is not part of the attack, having been dismissed by Lord Kaan.
Lord Kaan: "Today will be a day that will long be remembered."
Soon, the two forces clash in battle, the Jedi caught between two units of Sith warriors.

A young female raccoon is cut down by a Sith warrior during the start of the battle. Pharnis attacks the warrior from behind, taking off the hawk's head. The raccoon Jedi is barely alive as Starkiller kneels beside her.
Pharnis: It is alright, very soon you will be among our brothers and sisters who have passed before us in the Force.
The dying raccoon smiles at Pharnis the dies, her body disappearing, leaving only her cloths, armor and lightsaber. Starkiller takes up the late female's lightsaber and hooks it to his belt, then rejoins the battle.

Lord Kaan's forces press the attack. The sounds of battle fill the air. Lord Kaan engages a Jedi Knight, and proceeds to battle with him, though the duel is short, with Lord Kaan defeating the Jedi soon after it has begun.
ooc: Ugh, I am not good at these combat sequences.
Ruu Bii duels with a Sith and wins by a narrow margin, a piece of her armor scorced beyond recognition, a blow that just missed her body.

Pharnis runs his lightsaber through the chest of a follower of the dark side who has just jammed a spear into his right leg. Starkiller pulls the primative weapon out of the wound and breaks the spear in half. A Sith turret tank smashes through a wall nearby.

ooc: I'm running out of ideas, combat-wise.
Ruu Bii parries an attack from a Sith's lightsaber, and is nearly thrown back from the force of the attack, but readies herself and counter-attacks, defeating the Sith.

ooc: Eh, I'm going to have the Sith withdraw due to casualties.
Lord Kaan realizes that his forces are being stretched thin; a counter attack from another Jedi taskforce forces him to withdraw his forces back to his forward camp.
ooc: I'd like there to be an in character rest-break/interraction period before another battle commences.

Ruu Bii lucked out in the battle, as she was not hurt; she is, however, exhaused. She sees Pharnis walk out of the medical tent, and is curious as to whether or not he is okay.

Pharnis walks over to a chuckwagon for some much needed food. Though the 'food' tastes horrible, he still eats it.

Ruu Bii walks over and also gets some food to eat, her nose recoiling a bit from the smell. She spots a seat next to Pharnis, and sits down next to him.
