OOC: I've been puzzling through that, and don't have a complete idea (and I don't want to get graphic), but I figure R2-JD was terribly abused by a male at some point (and not what happened to Wedge's R5 unit, R5-G8 'Gate' in Isard's Revenge) around the time of the prequel trilogy.
IC: Daxx looks at Jade's memories and is horrified by what he sees. "Spirits of Space," he breathes.

OOC: After all the effort I've gone through to depict Jorba as a relatively nice guy (for a Hutt)? How about Durga or maybe Jabba? Then we could say that she was traded between Hutts to pay off a small debt. Also, Garr is still in her quarters, remember?

A full solar rotation passes and Jade still hasn't hurt anyone, but seems eager to help people now. Daxx and Tevan spent the night together and Kari is finally able to keep food down again.

IC: Kari emerges a few minutes later. "Dammit, one minute I'm puking my guts out, and the next minute I'm hungry," she complains. "Is there no justice in the Universe?"
