OOC: The guy's name is Fritz Holden. He doesn't know it, but Durga's very well aware of his disgruntlement, and has suspicions (but no proof at the moment) that he's playing 'Off the reservation'.
IC: "Why would anybody want that stuff?" Kari asks as she sits down across from Daxx.

"Hey, not our problem anymore." responds Daxx.

"True enough," Kari laughs.
OOC: Continuing on with the idea that while Durga doesn't have proof (which our characters will provide), he does have deep, dark suspicions that Fritz Holden is in the process of going rogue.

OOC: Sounds good.
IC: "Also, I procured some of the food items you requested to stock the galley." says Daxx. "The Chef really loves that mustard."

OOC: I don't remember Kari doing that... must've happened during the timeskip aboard the Jabiimi Redemption.
IC: "Good," Kari says. "Do we have another cargo lined up yet?"

OOC: You are correct.
IC: "Actually... someone I suspect is a rebel approached me about delivering bacta and other medical supplies to a base in the mountainous region several hundred kilometers away." informs Daxx. "Said I'd have to talk it over with you first."

OOC: Don't you mean kilometers, Marcus? I'll just assume that the mention of meters is merely a typo on your part.
IC: "Any Imperial entanglements over this?" Kari asks while she eats. "And don't lie about it, either, Daxx, 'cause you know I'll eventually find out."

OOC: Yeah I meant kilometers, stupid auto correct.
IC: "There is the local Imperial garrison about a kilometer and a half outside the city." says Daxx.

"What've they got that could cause us grief, and what's our cover story, assuming you've either been provided with one or come up with one of your own?" Kari asks between bites of her meal.

"The contact said to leave it to your discretion should we accept the mission." says Daxx. "Oh, this comlink is set to the contact's frequency."
Daxx then hands Kari the communications device.

"Simple, we were approached to move the stuff anonymously. It's done often enough that we should be covered if the Imperial base is really awake and on the ball," Kari muses.
OOC: The part about getting grief was referring to the Imperial garrison.

OOC: I am aware of that.
IC: "Good cover story, Ma'am." says Daxx.

"Especially since it's the truth," Kari states. "Telling the truth and letting people place their own interpretation is one of the most effective methods of lying ever invented."

"Aye ma'am." responds Daxx. "One more thing. I have a gift for you."
Daxx pulls a bar of chocolate from Alderaan prior to the planet's destruction.
"I put up 20 credits for that. Enjoy it, make it last if you can." Daxx adds.

OOC: Unless I've miscalculated Daxx's age, he's old enough to be Kari's father. I'm going to start having Kari poke at that a little.
IC: "Thanks, old man," Kari says. "Now, I gotta put that in the fridge so it'll last longer."

"Old enough to be my father," Kari responds logically. "It's simple subtraction of how old I am from how old you are. Now, back to business. Is the cargo loaded aboard the Silverwind and is she fully repaired?"

"Good, I'll be along shortly. I've got some purchases to see to the delivery of," Kari says.
OOC: Yes, she went shopping (and had fun doing so). Thankfully, it was all done offscreen, so we don't have to write it. As for what she bought, aside from the aforementioned blaster, well, I figure Onderon is like a mix of China and Japan, leaning a bit more towards China to account for some of the stuff Kari will have delivered.

"I see you went shopping." quips Daxx. "Two bags full of clothes and other items for yourself. You truly are a girl."
