ooc: the title is sort of a joke. Anyway, this RP is set during the Rebellion era. Rebels verses Empire.
ic: A young blond haired vixen walks out of one of the several cantinas in the spaceport city of Mos Fu'Rry. Her rebel ensignia barely hidden under her vest.
Vulp Aan: Stang... sand in my pants again. I really need to find another place to live... OH SHIT!
Aan jumps back into the seedy dive as a platoon of Sandtroopers marches by.

ooc: Um, is this going to be just a combat role-play, or will there be opportunity for roleplay as well? Anyways, let me dust off a few characters and then I'll start my part of the roleplay.

ooc: There will be normal role-playing as well. Not just combat. In fact, I will have the combat take place later.

ooc: Dusting off a few characters from the pre-Rebellion era protest role-play.
Zahra Nura and her husband, S'Fran are at the cantena that Vulp Aan dives back into. They had just finished meeting with other Rebels about plans for their next strike against the Empire.
Zahra: "Something wrong, Vulp Ann?"

Vulp Aan: As a matter of fact, yes. I just spotted another 'Sandsnopper' patron. Atleast fifteen plastic boys this time. The local governor is really tightening his grip on the place.

Zahra Nura: "Oh, I see."
Zahra remembers very well the last time she and S'Fran encountered Imperial troops; it was at the campus that they both had to flee from, for aiding resistance members. She will never forget that day, and she will never stop hating the Empire.

Aan remembers the day her older brother left to join the Imperial Army. She hated him for it, she just hopes she won't have to face him in combat.
Vulp Aan: I've arranged a meeting with a Mon Cal gun runner. He intends to meet us at Docking Bay 240 in two hours. Stay low til then.

Zahra: "Very well then, we will meet you then. Take care."
Zahra and S'Fran leave the cantena and go back to where they are staying, making sure that no one is following them. When they get to their accomodations, they share a special moment with each other.
Meanwhile, the Mon Calamari and his security team scout out Docking Bay 240.
Rebel Agent: I hope that this isn't a big mistake.

Sal'Mon: Don't worry my lad. We have the upper hand here. If these locals try anything, we simply drop em on the spot.
Tor: But they are rebels like us.
Sal'Mon: Who said anything about us being rebels!? We are mercanaries. Sure I hate the Empire as much as these rebels, but I aint ready to take sides in the fight.

Tenn ("Rebel Agent" from previous post) does not like what he heard from the Arms Dealer. He hides his shock (and slight disgust), knowing that it would do no good to complain. The wolf keeps on watching the area, looking out for any problems that might arise.

Sal'Mon: What was that? I just saw something move behind those crates. Tor, go take a look!
Tor: Yes sir...
The large muscled lion heads over to the intruders location, blaster at the ready.

ooc: I think that there's some confusion here. Tenn was the character that I had named Rebel Agent in the previous post, not a different character.

ooc: So is he with the Mon Cal or one of the local rebels?

ooc: Sorry for the delay (I was eating a quick dinner with my family). Tenn's with the Mon Calamari, but I could make another Rebel agent, if you want me to do so.

ooc; I will change the post to have it be an Imperial spy.
ic: Tor sneaks up on the hiding spy and blasts them at point blank range. The lifeless body of a reptilian Imperial agent sinks to the floor.

Tenn moves quickly to inspect the body, hoping that the spy was not able to give away the location of the planned deal.
Tenn: "Damn, I hope he wasn't able to get a signal out."

Tor does a once over of the corpse and can't find any kind of transmitter of comlink.
Tor: Dead guys is clean. Wait... I hear some kind of ticking...

Tenn: "Cr*p, he's rigged! Take cover!"
Tenn takes cover behind some crates, and hopes that he's wrong about a potential bomb on the spy.

Tor dives onto the dead reptile as the ticking stops. Luck is on his side. The explosive is a dud.

After waiting a while for the impending explosion, Tenn realizes that it must have been a dud, and gets back on his feet.
Tenn: Damn, that was close.
