Cass'an Driix is angered by her sister's words, but still wishes that she did not have to fight her. Once more, the two sisters clash upon the field of battle, neither one wishing to kill the other.
The Jedi facing Eev, and vice versa, on the other hand, have no problems fighting to kill one another.

Kalista dodges a stroke from her sister and delivers one of her own. Meanwhile, Marcus and the commandos are now on the right track and soon find Eev.
Marcus: It looks like we made it just in time! Eev! Behind you!

ooc: I'm assuming that that's a "look out, danger" shout, rather than an "I'm behind you" shout.
Thanks to Marcus' warning, Eev is able to dodge a blow from behind. The Sith then counters, and strikes down the Jedi that almost delivered a fatal strike.

ooc: I'm not sure what that ability is, so correct me if I am using it incorrectly.
Eev uses a Force Shockwave to collapse the nearby floor, buying the Sith some more time.
Eev: "Damn, we're getting overwhelmed here!"

As the floor underneath the New Republic troops gives way, a second group of Jedi arrives from the other corridor. The Jedi push the Sith warriors and troops away from the Throne Room and the pile which Ver Tosst is buried under. A group of New Republic medical troopers soon finds the gravely injured Jedi blademaster and med-evac him back to their flagship which is in orbit.
