Reunion

The hospital therapy staff couldn't believe it. The person that they had been helping get back to normal, with little success, was none other than Varick Hadar himself.

Staff 1: I can't believe it! I though he had died at Coruscant when the Vong took it over. How he's right in the room next to us is beyond reason.

Staff 2: Well, bounty hunters are a tough breed, and Varick is a survivor of more battles than we can imagine. Still, how he survived is indeed something that I would like to know.

Staff 3: Well, that will have to wait; he's not quite lucid yet. Sad really, seeing him in such rough shape, both emaciated and in mental anguish.

Staff 1: Think his family thinks he's dead?

Staff 2: Probably. Think we should tell them he's alive?

Staff 3 takes a look at Varick through the one-way glass.

Staff 3: They have the right to know. Who knows, maybe that will help him out, make him more lucid.

Varick meanwhile, continues to weep, thinking that he's the only one left of clan Hadar. The hypnosis managed to conjure up memories of what had happened that day on Coruscant, his family seperated from him, the destruction of his ship, his droid friend, Prewitt, being mangled by the Yuuzhan Vong. It all came back to haunt him.

Staff 2: Should we do something, perhaps tell him that his family is still alive?

Staff 3: I think we better. Oh, and get someone to call his family, to let him know that he's alive.

Meanwhile on the planet Concord Dawn, Jesic and Jag are busy repairing the house after a sever storm hit the area. Kandosi and Salla are fixing damage that the Ice Vixen took during the storm. While Mirdala and her wife are busy doing who knows what.

While the family remains busy, the Holo-Net reciever indicates that a message is being sent by an Alliance hospital. Mirdala, taking a break from watching the kids, sees this, and answers the reciever.

Mirdala: Hello?

Staff 3: This is the Hadar residence, am I correct?

Mirdala: Why does this concern you?

Staff 3: I am calling on behalf of the War Memorial Hospital Complex.

Mirdala: This was the clan Hadar residence, until a name change a few years ago. And we don't do this kind of thing over the Holo-Net.

Staff 3: No, no, this isn't a charity drive. We have some rather pressing news regarding Varick Hadar. He's alive, and here.

Mirdala: ...

Staff 3: We know that this might sound hard to believe, but we've done a DNA signature scan, and the results were a positive match.

Mirdala: That... that's...

Kandosi walks into the room, not knowing what Mirdala has found out.

[Marcus Starkiller]

Kandosi: Mirdala? Mirdala, you alright?

Mirdala: It's the War Memorial Hospital Complex. They say that they've got father down there.

[Marcus Starkiller]

Kandosi: That... that's impossible. His ship was destroyed by the Vong...

Mirdala: That's true, but they say they've done a DNA analysis, and claim that father is at the War Memorial Hospital Complex.

ooc: What planet should the hospital be located on?

[Marcus Starkiller]

ooc: how about New Holstice? starwars.wikia.com/wiki/New_Holstice

Kandosi: I think we should see this for ourselves. I'll get mother, and Jag. Salla is still aboard the Ice Vixen.

ooc: Sounds good to me.

Mirdala: I'll go get Nera and the kids. This damn well better not be a trick of some sort.

Meanwhile on New Holstice, Varick continues to go through therapy, where the staff try to make him more lucid. He still is not eating much, and as a result, is still thin.

Staff 2: I don't think he's improving much. I just hope that he's able to recognize his family when they come down here to visit.

Staff 1: I hope so too. I don't know what he's been through, but it must have been terrible.

The members of Clan Hadar/U'raath board the Ice Vixen and leave for Hew Holstice.

Jesic: I can't believe it... my Varick... still alive...

Mirdala: I hope that father's in okay condition. Looks like you'll be able to meet him after all, Nera.

Nera. Indeed. From what you've told me about him, I look forward to it.

Mirdala: I just hope that he'll be understanding like mom was about our relationship.

Nera: I'm sure that he will understand.

[Marcus Starkiller]

Kandosi: The trip will be atleast a half days journey in hyperspace from Concord Dawn to New Holstice.

Jesic: I know that son...

ooc: Should we cut to the Hospital part? Also, what about Jesic and Varick's grandchildren? Midala and Nera have a daughter, but what about Kandosi and Salla?

ooc: Kandosi and Salla have two sons, and a adopted daughter, who's parents were killed by the Vong. The eldest son is named A'den, the other son's name is Jaster. While the young female tigress is Jain.

ooc: Ah, okay then. Oh, and any ideas for what Mirdala and Nera's daughter should be named?

ooc: how about Ka’rta? Ka’rta is Mandalorian for heart. Or even Tar, which is Mandalorian for starfield, space, star, sky. Or even Kote, which is Mandalorian for glory, might.

ooc: Kote sounds good to me. And should we fast forward to the hospital part, or did you not want to do that yet?

The trip through Hyperspace to get to New Holstice was uneventful, and the landing on the planet went smoothly. Clan Hadar soon was at the hospital where Varick was located.

Mirdala: Well, we're finally here.

[Marcus Starkiller]

Jag: This is every mans nightmare... meeting a womans "former" husband.

Jesic: What is that supposed to mean?

Jag: I'm just joking. I'm looking forward to meeting the guy. And if this is truely him, I will let you return to him...
