Kari decides against the inverted scheme because it draws attention to itself. “Leave it alone,” she says in frustration.

"Suit yourself." the tech in charge of painting the fighters responds.

Kari walks out of the hangar muttering imprecations at the policy of forbidding the use of Partisan colors under her breath. What she doesn’t know is that the techs start painting her fighter in overall gloss black as soon as she is out of sight.

IC: Meanwhile, Marcus is reviewing a roster of new personnel and ships being assigned to his taskforce.

The task force is assigned to investigate a newly discovered habitable planet in the Outer Rim. Fleet Command has decided that the task force needs a quiet assignment to shake down newly assigned light combatants.

[Marcus Starkiller]

Among the new ships are a CR-92a Assassin Corvette, two CR-103 Assault Corvettes, two old CR-20 Troop Carriers, five CR-22 Troop Transport/Gunships and a Tartan Patrol Cruiser, whose crew mutinied against their command crew at the Battle of Endor.
