Alas, the great Steve Irwin has died, not-so-ironically killed by one of our planet's own creatures.

I had never thought about any sort of impact that the Croc Hunter had on me before.... But, now, after his death, he makes his presence known in my heart as a great loss to humanity and the Animal Kingdom.

And so, I salute Irwin now, as a member of the Human Race, and a part-time member of the Animal Kingdom. May your work, drive and enthusiasm live on in others.
