BIO:
Cahn Barrows was born five years before the beginning of the Clone wars, his mother Joni dying in childbirth. He was raised by his father, Kehn Barrows, an accomplished officer in the Coronet City Police Department. Shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, Kehn began grooming his son to continue the family trade, and Cahn entered the force at the age of 18. Streetwise and tough, Cahn excelled even as the new Galactic Empire began to overstep the authority of Corellia's Finest, stormtroopers preferring to shoot first and ask questions later.
When Cahn was 24 years old, his father was forcibly transferred to Coruscant to help train stormtroopers in urban combat, pushing Cahn even closer to leaving the police department and joining the Rebel Alliance. The last straw came when two of his officers were executed for treason, having interfered with a stormtrooper by holding him back before he blasted an innocent mother and her child. His decision finally made, he used one of his lower-city contacts to sneak him aboard an off-planet transport, and provide him the name of a Rebel recruitment cell.
When he finally joined up, Cahn rose quickly through the Rebellion's ranks, achieving the rank of Captain thanks to his police experience. After serving briefly on Hoth before the base there was evacuated, Cahn was stationed on a small Rebel freighter for the next few months, helping to train the few troops available to him.
While commanding a raid on an Imperial listening post in the Outer Rim, Cahn and his squad happened upon the Jedi Master Nik Vecto, who had been hiding on the planet for several weeks as he listened in on the Empire's dealings. He asked to go back with Cahn to join the Rebellion, but as the Jedi and his new-found friend arrived at their ship, they were discovered by an Imperial Star Destroyer. TIE fighters bashing away at their tiny transport ship with blaster fire, Cahn. Nik, and the surviving members of the attack team jettisoned into their hyperspace escape pods and narrowly escaped, later being picked up by the Starkiller's Pride, where they both remained for several years.
At the end of the Galactic Civil War, Cahn, Nik and several others were temporarily transferred to Coruscant in order to help keep the peace and train new police officers. Cahn still doesn't know if his father is still alive, or where he is. Someday, he hopes to see him again...
PERSONALITY:
Cahn is street-tough, fiercely loyal, and a great ally to have in a firefight. His experiences on Corellia have carved him into an exceptional man, and he remains one of Nik Vecto's closest friends, even though the two are opposited in many ways. Nik prefers a calm, polite approach, while Cahn doesn't take any Bantha crap from anyone about anything, and is very quick to anger and if he isn't getting what he wants.
He repects the Force, even if he can't use it (Or CAN he? I haven't decided... ), and is always ready to back up a lightsaber with his trusty blaster.
Cahn has never indulged romantic relationships, feeling that his duty took precedent over his personal feelings. However, that was before he met Muramin...
