Full name: Xarne Ai'arka
Alliance: Imperial Navy
Rank: Captain
Species: Doberman Pinscher
Age: 43
Sex: Male
Assignment/Location: Imperial Star Destroyer Supremacy
Born: 46 B.B.Y
Place of Birth: Anaxes
Parents:
Father ----> Vax Ai'arka
Mother ----> Ciane' Ai'arka
Education: Anaxes Citidel, Naval Academy
Marital Status: Married>Lasella Ai'arka
Background: Born on the fortress world of Anaxes more than 40 years before the Battle of Yaviin, Xarne was born into an old Anaxsi family with a long tradition of naval service. His father had been an extremely successful commander in the Republic Judicial Fleet, fighting against Pirate and Rogue forces throughout the Core Worlds and Mid Rim, earning numerous comendations and the everlasting respect of the men under his command. Hoping to continue the tradition of his family, and many other Anaxsi families, he began attending the naval academy at the Anaxes Citidel in 25 B.B.Y. planning to follow in his fathers footsteps in the Judicial Forces. Fate had other plans
In 22 B.B.Y. the Clone Wars started, and the Republic was roused to action. The Judicial Forces were reformed into the Republic Navy, and Xarnes father was asked to lead a fleet in battle against the CIS. As his father left for war, Xarne found himself stuck in the Anaxes academy for one more year to finish his schooling. Through a series of manipulations, advanced testing, and pleading of superiors he managed to graduate early and get a posting on board the Acclamator class crusier Pursuer as a gunnery officer.
Xarne showed great promise as a naval officer, taking time to further train and sharpen his mens skills, as well as tweak his equipment for prime efficency in battle, doing everything in his power to make sure he'd have the edge in combat. He would even go as far as to tape a piece of durasheet with the firing procedures for his turbo laser crew to the ceiling of his cabin, and go over it in his head before going to sleep each night. His zeal for being prepared would pay off in 21 B.B.Y. when the Pursuer was ambushed by several privateer vessels hired by the CIS. The gunner station he was assigned to was hit by a concussion missile volley, killing his superior and wounding most of the men there. Almost single handedly, he gathered and treated his wounded, repaired the fire control and cooling systems for the turbo laser, and operated the weapon himself throughout the battle until a relief crew arrived. He was promoted two ranks to a full Liuetenant for his valor, and given command of the gunnery station.
But the Clone Wars wasn't all glory and herosim for Xarne Ai'arka. In 20 B.B.Y. his father, stationed near Fresia in the Core Worlds, heard that the CIS Bulwark Fleet had engaged the Republic Victory Fleet at Anaxes. He prepared his personal flagship for departure, leaving the rest of his fleet to defend Fresia, hoping to help defend his world from the Sepratists. However, in the rush to get his ship to the battle, the nav coordinates were slightly flawed. His ship made it to Anaxes, but came out of hyperspace right in the middle of an enemy formation. The ship smashed into a Bulwark-Class CIS crusier, decimating both of the vessels, killing all hands including Vax Ai'arka.
Xarne was deeply crushed by the death of his father, and was offered a temporary leave to deal with the loss. But he refused, knowning his father couldn't stomach him leaving the battlefront simply to lament over something that could not be changed. He continued his duties on board his ship, and would fight throughout the Clone Wars at many strategic battles, including the Battle of Coruscant.
In 19 B.B.Y. with the Declaration of a New Order, the Empire was looking for upstart young officers to replace many of the Republic Supporters that were "purged" from the service. Xarne eagerly supported the New Order and it's Imperilization, knowing that corruption started the Clone Wars that killed his father, and thought that purification was another step towards peace. His firm belief in the policies of palpatine, coupled with his talents as an officer quickly spurred him up on the command ladder.
By the time before the Battle of Yaviin, Xarne was a Captain in the Imperial Fleet, and commander of the ImpStar Supremacy His knowledge of the outer rim from his battles during the Clone Wars proved valuable, as the Rebellion had most of their support here, and his ship was assigned to many risky patrols and search and destroy missions throughout the numerous sectors and systems of the rim...
