Description: The CEC Republic Frigate was a lightly armed diplomatic transport sold exclusively by the Corellian Engineering Corporation to the Old Republic, and served for many years as the primary courier of Diplomats and Ambassadors within the Republic. During the Stark Hyperspace War, several of these and other armed Republic vessel designs were used to destroy the Stark Collective, with disasterous results. The most famous of these frigates in the Stark Hyperspace War was the Invincible under the command of Senator turned General Ranulph Tarkin. Only a small handful of these vessels survived the Hyperspace War and are currently seeing action in the Clone Wars.
