I must say that this is probably one of the best constructed role-playing games that I have ever become framiliar with; certainly better than most of what I've played before.
Basically, in my free time, I'm coming up with characters both for my use, and other people's use. Unlike other games, in which a stat is a stat, this game really gives you the opportunity to think why a character would have that stat. Very deep in my opinion.
I already have a favorite character that I've created. I'll post her biography in the proper forum when I finish it.

I find it a shame that there's no one here in KC to play with. *sigh* Oh well... I've got plenty of time to write for MFF and other events where I can DM it.
Oh, and I do play it myself... There's a port of a charrie where you may recognize the background around the port itself...

After thorough reading of the main book and it's supplements (meaning that I can't play in the pre-made adventures now, because I know too much), I feel... motivated. Motivated, to create my own equilvalent world to Host. I'll share it with you guys, when (if?) I have more substance to it.

If I ever play this game rather than Host it, my character will be a Communist Revolutionist! I'm already working on a background for her and such. I'm also basing her a little on Count Dooku, that is, if Count Dooku wasn't a Sith, and honestly cared for the plight of the Separatists. She will also work to bring in a Free Press, as well as vast social programs.
What did you expect? I rate in as a Far Left Civil Libertarian on the political compass I linked to in the Politics section of the board.
Long Live The Proletariat!

*coughs* I don't think that would be very... Realistic... Serfdom is much of the lower-class in this world, not industrialization which bred forth socialism (and then, after Lenin got his paws on it, communism)...

Perhaps so, but none the less, one can... alter the world as one sees fit. Perhaps magic replaces certain technologies of the Industrial Revolution, allowing such anachronisms to exist, or perhaps there is the meddling of "outsiders" on the local population. But let's keep in mind that this is a fantasy game, so there is supposed to be a degree of suspension of disbelief.

Well, I would be up for this We are starting up a Zebra Revolution on Furry Muck, lead by known communist deviant Tawnya. My character, Debra isn't a really communist, she's just a proud zebra conformist.

Just to let you know, I'm not actually 100% Communist, I just have leanings towards that spectrum.

Well be the Zen communists. We can be Communist, by not being Communists!

I think I now have an out of print book for Ironclaw; the Renaldi sourcebook/adventure. Unless of course, they reprinted it. This deserves more investigation...

Oh right. I'll check my games store again... Last I saw though they were charging *more* than listed price for books. "Ludicrous Games" is right... Ludicrous prices....

Damn, that sucks. Why do they charge so much?
What games do you play, Steedo? Perhaps I can pick some up for you at reduced prices.

I used to play more game, but now I barely have time for them. Other than my group in Second Life(which fails in some respects to count as a 'game'), the only other game I seem to play regularly is a Werewolf:The Apocalypse LARP, and I'm thinking about trading the 4-hours a weekend LARP for a one-weekend-every-two months LARP... I dunno... I may stop LARPing entirely. It doesn't seem to be doing what I wan it to do which is to help me think more quickly on my hindopaw.
