I am quite curious on why some people like the Imperials from Star Wars. Care to tell me why?

Because, someone has to be the badguys! Besides, Stormtrooper armor is the Sheet! I never take it off in Star Wars Galaxies.  |

The Empire, simply put, has the best toys. Sure, the Incom T-65C might be a neat thing to have, but get your paws on a Sienar TIE Interceptor... *whistles* You just done something right there.
Further, there are many people in the Empire whom just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, swept up in ideals and blinded thusly. Captain Needa is one example, and I could likely list more if I had to...
And what makes Jedi rebels so hot an' tot?

I have to agree with Binary on some of this. Look at Janek Sunber, he didn't really see the wrong doings of the Galactic Empire until issue 36 of Star Wars Empire: The Wrong Side of War Part 1 of 5, when the Imperials enslave the population of Jabiim.
