A Game of a Different Style

[Binary the Great]

Alright, I figured I'd pop up a little game that occured to me; the idea amused me and here it goes.

• The object is to properly guess the video game given based on clues
  
• There will be, at any one time, three 'lines' of which one may attempt to guess at (a, b, and c)
  
• Clues may be on any type, from screenshots (please host from photobucket or like source rather than linking directly from another site)
  
• Score will be kept based on how many correct answers are given
  
• When you correctly answer the current line, you are responsible for posting to the next one (adding an iteration to the number)
  
• If there are multiple titles for a game, all must be considered the correct answer
  
• If no one correctly guesses the line within two days, you may add more clues to it
  
• With the exception of this post, because someone needs to start it, no one may run all three lines
  
• The person running the line at the time may request that Google not be used on the particular game
  
• These rules may change if they need to be

Sounds fun. While I don't know what games B1 and C1 are from, I do know that A1 is from Star Wars Rebellion.

Oh, perhaps we should wait for confirmation on the answer, in the future, before posting the next one... Just in case the guess isn't right?

Only because I am a sucker for Latin and you didn't say that you specified that we could not use google. I would never have gotten it since I'm not much into that genre. Well. off to see if I can find the soundtrack.

A brief history of the lyrics' source

The lyrics to "A One-Winged Angel" are taken directly from "Carmina Burana," which is an opera written by Carl Orff in the 1930s. Orff based his opera on poems from the manuscript "Benediktbeuern." The title "Carmina Burana" literally means "songs of Beuren" and was given by Johann Andreas Schmeller to his complete edition (1847) of the poems contained in an early 13th-century German manuscript (found in 1803) from the Benedictine abbey of Benediktbeuern, south of Munich in the Bavarian region.

Since then, the manuscript has been known by that title even though it is now generally agreed that it probably did not originate in Benediktbeuern and may have come rather from Seckau. There are some poems in German, and several of the poems have music written in unheighted neumes -- a relatively rare style of notation at the time. In total, the manuscript contains approximately 250 poems.

If you know you have it right, I don't see why wait for confirmation. The Winner can still be slapped and their new question stricken in the off chance that someone so certain provides an answer which is unacceptable.

Because the last one was so easy to google, here's one that should be much much harder. (so hard I haven't been able to confime the exact words.)

You are correct... Well about the game being Fallout. Actually the turbo plasma cannon with Quickshot and Gifted is totally the cheapest combo... Five shots of plasma death a round, if they are lucky a Supermutant can survive one shot, but not two.



C1- Would be Counter Strike-- A game where cashiers refuse to work until they get higher pay? I mean.. uh an antiterrorist first person shooter.

C1 is indeed Counter Strike, one of the best (or worst, POV dependant) mods out there.
