An MMORPG that costs 50 bucks to pick up, and is free to play. I'm looking for anyone else here who plays. My main character is named Brom Heavyhand.

I've heard of it before, but never played it. Other than it being a fantasy setting, what is it about?

There are actually three versions of the game. The one I have, Prohpecies, starts you out defending a country called Ascalon from the catlike Char. At the end of pregame (the training area), you do one final mission, then skip about a year when the Char invade and destroy the place. After that, your left to muck around and try to get the country back on it's feet. You also visit other countries, I'm just not that far yet. Enemies start looking real frightening once they start reaching level nine, especially when the level cap is level twenty and it takes forever to level up.

Oh, you FIGHT cat-like people?

Well, if I didn't hold it against Diablo II (the Saber Cat monsters), then I guess I shouldn't hold it against Guild Wars either. I don't know if I should be getting another MMORPG, but if the time permits, I'll take a look at it. Can't make any promises though.

K. Oh, if it helps, the catlike people look more like demons, and they have an obsession with fire. AND they laid waste to a beautiful country.

Like I said, I won't hold it against the game's creators; the situation in Diablo II was much more... disturbing, and I still played that game for quite some time.
