All I really remembered about this game was that the figures looked extremely cool. Which I why I bought some that were in the bargain bin of the game store I visit often. And after all these years, the figures still look awesome. Sadly, it uses the "clix" miniatures system, which I don't like, but converting them to stat card system is a possibility. But the most important part of this news is that I am going to try to customize many of the none unique figures with cool paint jobs.
Which brings up an important question I must ask: what type of paint was I supposed to use for this kind of thing?

Would that be before or after they changed the rules for artillery? Because I remember that they changed it so that no matter how many artillery tokens you stack up, they only do one token of damage. But that's besides the point; artillery was indeed pretty powerful when it first came out, and probably still is LEATHAL.

That's why you drop behind or better yet on top of the artillery. Or go in with stealth-rigged mechs. Failing that, well, there is always charging in with a bunch of TSM brawler mechs!
I'm confused what exactly you are talking about. I thought that the Mech game was Battletech, which could be played with standup counters or minitures. Mechwarrior was an RPG that gave stats for the mech pilots themselves...
Of course then there was the four Mechwarrior computer games and the Trading/Collectable Card Game. I played them all. I miss the original 16 mechs they got from Marcoss. }};/

We were talking about the Wizkids product game, Mechwarrior: Dark Age/Age of Destruction. It's a "clix" game, just like Mage Knight or Hero Clix, as oppossed to the stat card games such as D&D and Star Wars.

I really either need to stop buying MechWarrior, or clean my room so that I can disply them better; the latter is much more likely.
I'm going to see about buying the proper paints, so that I can give the figures customized paint jobs; oh, and make stat cards for them as well. I will also see about making some sort of house grand conquest game with them (the box does say "conquer the galaxy" on it), similar to the Mage Knight Conquest rules.
