Politicians tend to be greedy and look only to better thier position. They enrich themselves off of the wealth of the people and the government. The solution? Life-long vows of poverty all around upon achieving office!
They must give up their riches (if any) and must live simple lifes, living in simple homes, eating simple meals, and wearing simple clothing. This should scare away any people who would seek to live as parasitic beings on their representitive land.
