Political Party Leanings (If Any)

I was wondering, since a California election is coming quite soon, what political parties people here support or are a member of.

I myself am an Independent, because neither the Democrat or Republican party is attractive to me. If I ever get into politics, I will either be an Independent, or start my own party.

I often considered being a RiNO (Republican in Name Only) so I could have some influence there, but... I mostly hail as Democrat because, with our current system, only the two major parties have any real influence.

However, I like to think of myself as a realist more than any other party: I see the way things should work, but I know that they seldom work as they should.
