This is a San Francisco Bay Area gaming event. I went to it on Saturday (it lasted from Friday to Monday). I had lots of fun. I purchased some more dice for my dice collection, bought a nice dice bag, and got some Flames of War miniatures. I also watched a lot of people play various games, and went to a seminar on how to get published. I had a lot of fun there.

Speaking of games, the role-playing game that I'm working on is making mixed progress. On one hand, I have all the species for the good guys selected; however, when I was making stats for them (fun part), I realized that I needed to further add in some initial character creation detail (hard part). Overall, I expect to have a finished copy by the end of summer.

Update
I have finished a good portion of the game. Fortunately for me, one of the workers at the game store I buy stuff from made an RPG relatively recently; I told him about my RPG, and he said that he would be happy to look it over.

Update: I've just about finished enough of the RPG to create some sample characters. Though college classes have begun, I think I'll be able to have a sample character or two completed by the end of the month.

Well, it's pretty much the end of the month, and no sample characters yet. College is interfering with my work on the game, but the college is worth it.
I think that I can finish designing this game by the end of the year and get a gaming session in too. So, if (and that's a big if) I manage to finish my game this year, who would like to play test it?
As to where we would play test it, I asked around on another message board and they pointed me in the direction of an online chat room designed for role-playing. So that shouldn't be a problem.

Today is the day that I shall try to make a big push to finish enough game rules to come up with sample characters. I am determined to get this done by the end of the weekend, and failing that, by the next weekend.
