I was just leaving Kubla Con today, when I noticed an advertisment for FURther CONfusion 2007. Appearently, the theme for FURCON next year is Spies and Secret Agents. Sounds quite interesting, to say the least.

Damn, it's still about five months away, but the hotel's booked full already; looks like I will have to find a place nearby that's close enough to the convention to stay at.

Why, oh, why do I have to be such a procrastinator?

The Executive Inn is within a mile or two and has rooms for $80, since I know you don't have money to burn.

Actually, I reserved a room at a place called the Homewood Suites, which is just a mile away. A bit more expensive, but still something I can afford.

Okay, I cancelled my hotel reservation a few months ago (too freaking expensive), and will have a ride to FC '07 for Saturday and Sunday. I am looking forward to this event, and will be better preparred for next year's event.

Eh, the convention was okay, I suppose. I'm looking forward to the next one, which will be the tenth anniversary event of FURCON.

I'll probably make my hotel reservation tomorrow, once FC'07 is fully over.

I didn't have that much money with me this time around, so I did not pick up too much stuff. I'll start saving up for next year as soon as possible.
