It finally happened: I am now willing to play an alignment other than good (Principled or Scrupulous) in Palladium Books games. The alignment in question that I am seriously considering to play a character as? Abberant (evil). In many regards, Abberant really isn't evil at all, certainly not compaired to the other evil alignments (Miscreant and Diabolic), or even to the selfish alignments (Unprincipled and Anarchist).
The good alignments are too... afraid to do what is neccessary to defeat true evil, but Abberant is not; they are willing to get their hands dirty to stop true evil.

Chaotic Good... Well, it's progress. Though I think Lawful Evil is more fun to play. Do they still use those terms in D&D?

To the best of my knowledge, yes, D&D still has the Chaos/Evil/Good/Law/Neutral system of alignment.
