...Most of my art is not colored in: my scanner sucks at picking up the colors. Either they are not the same color, or it doesn't pick the up at all.
Lately, I've been wanting to use my colored pencils again, so I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for me as to how to tackle the scanner problem.

You could fix the scan in some kind of paint or photo program.

Yes, I suppose that I could do that, but I want an "unaltered" look to my drawings. Perhaps I should take a high quality digital picture of my art instead? I've a friend who does so, and her art in those pictures looks pretty nice.

I really hope that that works, since I prefer to color things in with pencils instead of using a computer; much more fun and relaxing in my opinion.

Lately, I have also preferred using colored pencils in my posted works.... It has more of a hands-on, in-control feel to it, at least to me....
