I have always enjoyed Pixar's films. From Woody and Buzz to Mike and Sully, they have carried a sort of timeless charm that appeals to all ages, in a socially acceptable way.
However, I'll be the first to admit that they went a little astray with Brad Bird's The Incredibles.... Even though it was a great movie, I felt that it was a little too different for Pixar, and I'm glad that John Lasseter has taken up the directing reigns to lead the company back to its roots. -----------------------------------------------------
Okay, enough chatter.... Time for the review!
Speed.... I am speed.... Right from the get-go, you can tell the film will be awesome! The visual are astounding, whether you're inches above the pavement of Los Angeles International Speedway or smack dab in the middle of Radiator Springs, every tree, rock, rail and blacktop screams "Life". Pixar has created amazing visuals before, every time they make something there is some kind of leap. The lighting on all of the vehicles and other surfaces look REAL, as if you could really touch them. Amazing.
Now, the story! (COMING SOON!)
