Background: Pharnis Starkiller was born in 1,042 BBY, and was the only child of Lirran and Elsen Starkiller. At the age of 2, he was discovered by the Jedi Order and his parents reluctantly gave him up. During the early years of his training, Pharnis excelled in all practices. At age 34, he finally reached knighthood, but didn't take on a padawan. at the age of 38, Pharnis encountered a lone Sith warrior out beyond the Rim wihile on a scouting mission, the two warriors fought with great power, during the fight, the Sith lashed out and scarred the right side of the Jedi's face, but soon met a timely dead at the blade of Starkiller's lightsaber. At the age of 41, he secretly married a fellow Jedi, a lovely vixen named Arren Strider. The two bore a son together, whom they kept a secret from the order. One year later, Pharnis Starkiller was assigned to Lord Hoth's Army of Light. During the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, the Army of Light did battle against the forces of Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness during the New Sith Wars. When Lord Kaan used a thought bomb to eliminate his Jedi enemies, Pharnis was among the many Jedi who died. Due to Pharnis' connection to Arren, she could sense his death and left the order to raise their son on her own. Pharnis' spirit was trapped on Ruusan by the thought bomb for a thousand years. Eventually, Kyle Katarn released Pharnis Starkiller and the rest of the trapped spirits five years after the Battle of Yavin.
