SAME AS NORMAL TIMELINE: Marcus Starkiller was born to Zack and Wynssa Starkiller in Coronet City, Corellian. Although the Force was in young Marcus since birth, it would lay dormant for many years. At age sixteen, when the Separatist movement had just started, Marcus joined SAGroup as a cadet and became a member of the organizations color guard. While in SAGroup, he became a strong supporter of COMPOR (Commission for the protection of the Republic). Upon turning eighteen, Marcus enrolled in the Republic Naval Academy. His father, being a veteran of the Stark Hyperspace War, was able to pull some strings and got Marcus assigned to one of the diplomatic cruisers, the Coruscanti Dawn, after he graduated third in a class of 438 people. While serving aboard the Coruscanti Dawn a month before the Clone wars struck the galaxy, a group of vessels of the ‘Flaming Skull’ pirate group attacked the vessel and it’s escort craft. The escort vessels where destroyed one by one and the lead pirate vessel docked with the disabled senatorial vessel. During the fire fight between the crew and pirates, the Corusanti Dawn’s XO, Rusw Trog, led a group to repel the invaders and was ultimately gunned down. Marcus took command of the strike force and was able to force the pirates back aboard their own ship, just as a Jedi task force entered the system from hyperspace. Unfortunately, the diplomats had also lost their lives during the battle. Just after the Battle of Geonosis and the start of the Clone Wars, Marcus was transferred to his father’s dreadnaught, the Republic’s Savior and eventually became the ships deck officer. During the rise of the Empire and the Jedi purge, Marcus was a crewmember aboard a Corellian corvette known as the Hope of the Jedi Order and helped sneak Jedi to the outer rim and unkown territory, a month earlier, his father Zack was killed trying to do the same thing and his family also perished for it. A short while later he set off into hiding only after recently discovering his connection to the Force. While in hiding, he came across a Jedi Master by the name of Horkon Sunskimmer and his wife, a fellow Jedi, Zul Sunskimmer on the all but forgotten world of Lamaredd. Horkon took Marcus under his wing and trained him in the ways of the Force. Marcus soon built his own functional lightsaber and entered knighthood. While the great Jedi Purge swept the galaxy, Marcus fell in love with Ivanova, the daughter of Horkon and Zul. While on Lamaredd, Marcus and the others formed a rebel cell amongst the local population and led several daring raids against the local Imperial Garrison and eventually executed Moff Risonn Yilnt. A month after the destruction of the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin, the rebel Alliance set up base on the remote outer-rim world. Marcus along with Ivanova joined the fight against the Empire while Horkon and Zul stayed behind. Several years passed and the two lovers found themselves fighting on the frozen ice ball of a planet, Hoth. During the coming battle, Marcus was recruited as a member of Rogue Squadron and helped to slow down the Imperial advance, until his T-47 snow speeder took a direct hit and crashed. Without the Force, Marcus surely would have perished on the spot, but with the help of a Jedi healing technique, he managed to survive long enough for Ivanova to find him. The two lovers along with many of their fellow freedom fighters, where captured by General Veer’s snow trooper battalion. While being transferred the spice mines of Kessel aboard the dreadnaught VTR/LX, a dark acolyte tortured the two Force wielding rebels, before they could be put to death by this dark side brute, a Rebel task force intercepted the VTR/LX, disabled it and rescued the captives. Shortly afterward, Marcus and Ivanova returned to Lamaredd and where married. Just after the Battle of Endor and the death of Emperor Palpatine at the hands of Darth Vader, Marcus came into the possession of a Mon Calamari star cruiser which he named the Starkiller’s Pride, several months passed and Marcus and Ivanova formed Escort Squadron. One of their fellow squad members was Nik Vecto, and old friend of Horkon and Zul. Nik had also befriended Marcus during the debriefing after the Battle of Galidran during the Clone Wars.
START OF ALTERED TIMELINE: Two years later, during a fierce battle against the Imperial Remnants, Ivanova was gunned down by a group of elite stormtroopers, Marcus flew into a vengeful rage, killing the Imperial battalion single handedly, when Nik Vecto tried to calm down the greaving fox, Marcus lashed out at Master Vecto, trying to take off his arm, but failing to do so, and disappeared into the underworld of Coruscant. A short while later, Starkiller came across the path of a dark sider named A'brant Eev. Marcus agreed to join her unholy crusade in the hopes of destroying those who had destroyed his life. During an encounter with his former friend Nik, Master Vecto cut away Marcus' right leg, but Marcus managed to escape with the help of his new master and lover, A'brant Eev.
