Already from the first few minutes of the very first episode, I can tell that this show is pretty high powered, from a gamer's point of view. Seriously, if they made a Star Wars setting for the game Exhalted, you would basically get what's in the cartoon. While I find the cartoon to be pretty cool, my suspension of disbelief simply cannot repel firepower of that magnitude.

I agree, the show is pretty good. It's just that after seeing the battles from the six movies, I'm not accustomed to seeing such large military engagements. But, I suppose that that's because movies are more expensive to make, and more limited in what they can do.

I'm not sure if you've seen both discs, but you REALLY need to see the second one. It makes a LOT of things in Ep. III make sense. *dreamy sigh* And then... Being overrun on the surface like that...

I'm sure that I'm going to get my ass kicked for even saying this, but, truthfully, even after all the time Fat George spent on it, and all of the thousands of dollars and man-hours spent.... I actually found Clone Wars:Volume II more tense and emotionally compelling than all of the prequel trilogy. I mean, hey, I knew that the whole "Palpie-kidnap" thing was just a ruse to set the Emperor's evil plan in motion, it was so incredibly tense! I loved every minute of it, even the stuff that was weird even for Star Wars!
Anakin's final trial? Magnificent!

Why would I kick your ass for that? You're mearly saying what we are all probably thinking. For that, I applaud your courage.
Let's face it, Lucas probably didn't have the same enthusiasm when he made the prequel trilogy as he did the original trilogy.
