Steedo, are you deliberately poking fun at us, or do you actually have underwear with a/multiple chupacabra(s) on them, or a mask of a chupacabra in there? If it's the third thing, did someone pull a prank on you for Halloween?

My first post was just a silly a tweety-bird reference... By the way, I shot that chupacabra in my undies.... How he got in my undies, I'll never know...
Actually, I was trying to humorously raise the topic of Crypto-zoology, since a some cryptids are Furry.. And Biology is a topic that has been discussed and would be of interest to anyone developing a believable alien race.
So what are your favourite cryptids?
Bigfoot? Yeti? Chupacabra? Scottish Lock sea monsters?
And how about actual species which may or may not be extinct:
Coelcanth-A close relative of the common ancestor to all land dwelling vertebrates. They were thought to have gone extinct 80 million years ago before they were rediscovered off the Eastern coarst of Africa in the late 1930's. The Quagga Zebbra, once beleived to be an extinct fourth species of zebbra, it turns out they were a subspecies of the common plains zebbra or true burchelli zebra, also thought extinct. Turns out there are plenty of true burchelli zebbra in more sothern areas of Africa, and that some of these are sufficiently quagga like that there is a project to select the most quagga-like zebbras to recreate the subspecies. And the Thylacine or the marsupial wolf that is believed to have gone extinct in 1930s, but unconfirmed occasional sightings continue to crop up...
Post your favorite cryptids or other favourite allegedly extinct species or ask me more about the ones above.
