(Here is a quick history of the 707th)

The 707th Strike Legion was a unit of the Grand Army of the Republic created during the Clone Wars. The legion's General was a female Leopard by the name of Hinalin Sandi, a master dualist specializing in the II and V forms of lightsaber combat. The unit’s Command Clone was CC-9980 Commander Bes'uliik, a hard headed Rho series clone. Through out the wars the unit was distinguished for the hard fought victories many on them during the second year helped keep the Republic intact. When Order 66 was handed down to the unit many hesitated to attack their General mainly because most saw her as an older sister, but there were still some who did attack her. The result being a good two thirds of the legion being killed ether by Sandi or their fellow clones, ether as traitors to the Empire or defending their general. The units Colors were originally Green and golden Orange, Sandi’s favorite colors, but during the time of the Rebellion the colors changed to dark green and crimson. This unit still exists in the Legacy era of the Star Wars universe.
