With the creation of this area on the Pride, a bold, new genre can be conceived of, a genre combining the best of the best of amongst Sci-Fi's greatest two genres: Star Trek, and Star Wars. No mere Trek Wars will the site be, but rather a harmonious hybrid of Star Trek and Star Wars. Behold, a brave, new era shall be born.
Now then, you are probably either thinking "what can I do to help," or "what is this guy talking about?" Well, for the first question, what you can do to help is by participating in any role-plays of the "Big Four," which will be the four main eras that Final Frontier shall concentrate on. Said eras will be "Infinity's End" (the end of the Infinite Empire, and creation of the Republic), "The Force War" (A conflict of ideologies of the Force), "The Borg War" (An invasion by the Borg that parallels the Yuuzhan Vong War), and "The Final Frontier" (Combination of the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War). These role-plays shall then be made into stories that will be available to all to read.
As for "what is this guy talking about," well, I am talking about something new and original. Something that might not have been done yet. Something that will be a beacon of hope amongst Sci-Fi fans. Final Frontier will not be specifically a "Furry" genre, though there are many races that can be considered "Furry" that will be a part of it (Wookies for example).
So then, what say you, we few, we band of brothers?

Maybe... If it's interests me. 3 or the four ideas are regurgitation of Warsie canon, and I have no interest in the Borg. What kind of crssover galasy is it if the ideas are either trekkie or warsie?

It's basically a hybrid technology galaxy. It's set in the Milky Way Galaxy, but elements for the Star Wars Galaxy are incorporated into it. It's set sometime between Y1 (Beginning of the Infinite Empire) to around Y10,000 (Beginning of Final Frontier). The technology is a bit of a hybrid of ST/SW; Hyperwarp is used, as are Turbo-phasers. Technology advance ment is not as slow as in Star Wars, but not as fast as in Star Trek. Earth is the capital of the Republic, sort of a hybrid between Coruscant and Alderaan in terms of appearance.
Also, while there are analogs of SW canon events, they happen a bit differently. For example, the Force War does not involve Jedi/Sith ideologies, but instead between Conformists (those who say that Force sensitives must serve the Republic from birth to death), and Idealists (those who say that it is up to the person to choose how to live).
The Borg are a bit more alien in operation than in canon ST; instead of a Hive Mind lead by a Queen, they have a Gestalt Intelligence, that gets more powerful the more Borg in a nearby area there are. Think of the Slivers from Magic: The Gathering, and you basically have the Borg in this hybrid ST/SW genre.
