This here topic is to provide the rules and guidelines for role-plays in the Final Frontier genre. If something should be here that is not here, let me know, and I will see about adding such rule.
RACES
Final Frontier's races and species are basically broken into three categories: Old (Infinity's End), Middle (Force War), and Young (Borg War and Final Frontier). As such, some races will not be available for some specific story based role-plays. Until a good sized era specific list can be made, inquire first at what races are available for certain role-plays. Of course, there can be non-canon role-plays done purely for fun that do not have to limit use on available races.
CONTENT
The target rating for the stories, and thus, the canon role-plays, is PG/PG-13. Behave accordingly. As for length of posts, do not worry about it. What is written in a role-play, can be further expanded in the actual story, so don't worry if you think that your posts are too short.
RULES
It is up to the character's creator as to what happens to their character. For example, if shot at, it is up to the play to decide if his character is hit or not, not the player say that he/she is shooting at the other's character; however, please keep actions realistic. For example, you should not have your character do unrealistic things, such as deflecting a thousand phaser shots with a lightsaber that he/she does not even have training to use.

Additional Rule(s)
Common Courtesy In Role-Playing
If there are more than two people role-playing in a story role-play, then each much get approximately equal time posting. For example, with three players, there should not be a sizable gap between each other's posts that is greatly noticable. Example: A B C B A B C, where A/B/C are players 1/2/3. Another (incorrect) example: A B C B A B A B A B A B A C.
An exeption to this rule is if one of the players is absent for more than a certain set time from the role-play, which they should state who should take temporary control of their character(s).
