Hot water burns Mar's muzzle, but she is wearing a blast visor, so her eyes are spared from the burning assault. She takes aim at the Republic trooper who fired at the water pipes and fires a shot from one of her blasters.

he cries out as he hits the floor as the bolt shot through his leg. "E12, emergency transmission alpha." he yells to the astromech in the cockpit, who sends out the signal to the fleet.

Meanwhile aboard the freighter, a young female wolf named Sallie takes her blaster and destroys the astromech droid on the bridge as ordered by Blaze.
Back aboard the Dark Vixen, another female wolf brings some food to the prisoner.
