Meditation. Something that Swanhild Hadar was good at, something many of her fellow clan could not understand. While they sparred to prepare for combat, which she did as well, she preferred to go into meditative trances to prepare her mind for battle. SHe continued to meditate, until a voice brought her back to reality.
Hanne Hadar: "Sis, you're needed in the briefing room."
Swanhild: "Very well."
Swanhild rose, and headed out to the briefing room, followed by her half-cousins from half-uncle Wulfgang's bloodline.

"What's going on?" asked Wulfgang Hadar as he entered the briefing room.
"Yeah, what's going on? I was asleep." said Allisa Hadar.
Wulfgang's daughter Amara then enters the room as well.
"What is SHE doing here?" says Amara when she sees Swanhild in the briefing room.

ooc: Heh, ncie use of text options, I should do that myself.
Swanhild: "I am part of your clan, whether you like it or not, and was told to come here.
Asli enters the room, and it falls silent. "As you may know, clan Hadar has fallen a bit on hard times, due to an era of peace following the Sith War. As such, we have been forced to make ends meet by cutting back on things. However, the Galactic Alliance is offering to pay the clans of Mandalore a healthy sum of money to have their best warriors deal with a pest problem on the planet Tyran. It seems that a host of dangerous predators has appeared on the planet, and they need to be exterminated. I know, I know, this seems beneath us, but, credits are credits, and they are paying well. Any questions thus far?"

"Yeah, I have one... when do we leave?" asked Wulfgang.

Asli: "We leave in four hours. That should be enough time to get ready and make your final preperations. Any other questions? No? Then you all are dismissed."
Swanhild leaves the room, followed closely by her half sister, Hanne. "Something that I can help you with, sis?"
Hanne: "I know that we were bred for war, but I just can't shake the feeling of death from my mind, never having seen combat before."
Swanhild: "Just aim and shoot. Simple as that."
Hanne: "maybe for you, since you're so 'gifted.'"
Swanhild just sneers at Hanne for that remark.
Hanne: "Sorry, but your father WAS a Sith."
Swanhild just ignores Hanne at this point, sneering one last time, before storming away, right into Amara.

"Ouch! Watch where your going reject!" says Amara with frustration.

Swanhild: "Reject? Is that the best that you can muster? Just because of my origins, I am not any less of a Mandalorian than you are, or any less of a Hadar. Now, unless you want to make something of it, I suggest you back off."

"Fine... but you better watch your back. Don't want to lose you to 'friendly fire', now do we?" retorts Amara.

Swanhild: "It's not my back that other's should be watching for. See you later." With that, Swanhild walks back to her room to meditate. But before she does so, she takes a look at a picture of her father, who had martyred himself in defense of clan Hadar at the end of the Sith War, only to have his name nearly erased from the clan's records. Swanhild, feeling sad now, decides that she doesn't feel like meditating now, and goes off to get something to eat. Along the way, she encounters a fellow clan member who is not so outright hostile to her.

"Hi Swanhild... how are things going?" asked Vikki Hadar.

Swanhild: "Eh, same as always, same as always. I'm starting to figure that if the clan doesn't want me, that I should just leave. But, where to? Asli's not telling me anything about father's family, leaving me trapped here. Anyways, I was off to go get something to eat, want to join me?"

"Sure thing." said Vikki Hadar. "I myself don't fit in much either."

Swanhild: "Yeah, but at least they give you the time of day." Swanhild and Vikki make their way to the cafeteria, and order a meal before they have to go to battle. "Sometimes, I wonder what my life would have been like if my father had been allowed to show me his side of the family. It's not fair for the clan to have just disregarded him, considering he died to save a few clanmates."

"I know... The reason for me being somewhat of an outcast is because I keep hacking into clan files... speaking of which, Here is a copy of some deleted files I recovered. They... they... involve your father." said Vikki.

Swanhild is speechless at Vikki's generosity. "Th... thank you! I'll take a look at them after this meal." She looks at the disks, then at Vikki again. "You don't know how much this means to me."

Swanhild: "Don't worry, I will. You're really the only one here who understands and accepts me. I feel that even mother doesn't care about me sometimes." Swanhild and Vikki finish their meal, and proceed to go about their final business, but are cut short, when the plans to leave are shortened to immediately. "Damn, well, I'll look at the disks later. Coming Vikki?"

Swanhild and Vikki board the Ice Vixen, along with several other clan members, as well as a few outside Mandalorians, and leave the planet, and head on towards Tyran. Once there, they disembark from the Ice Vixen at the designated docking bay at Tyran City, and from there they head into the sewers, where the infestation was located. "I wish we could go shopping in the malls, rather than stalking in the sewers."

"I agree." said Vikki Hadar. "But still, the prospect of combat is fun."
