"Well, we haven't recieved any missions, yet, so I'm going to work on your 'saber skills," Matt replies, patting his doublebladed 'saber. "But that's for tomorrow."
Mara looks uneasy, remembering something the Council had told her about her master being different from modern Jedi. The second part of Matt's statement causes her to release an almost imperceptible sigh of relief.
OOC: During that first conversation Matt has with the Council, did they say anything about Matt's use of a double bladed lightsaber?

OOC: Thanks for clearing that up.
IC: Matt notices Mara's unease around Barquan, and decides to properly introduce them to each other. "Barquan, this is my Padawan Learner, Mara Swift," Matt says.
"A pleasure, Ma'am," Commander Barquan says politely. Mara nods in return, feeling more at ease around the clone commander.
"Mara, this is Commander Barquan, the official commanding officer of the 997th Recon Battalion," Matt says, finishing the intros.

Matt doesn't get the chance to reply as he and Barquan's comlinks buzz, indicating a priority message. (OOC: Marcus, where do we want our fearless heroes to get sent? Korriban's out, obviously. My suggestion is send them to Onderon.)

"I take it back, we have a mission: Onderon is under Separatist blockade," Matt says. "Barquan, prep the troops and get me a Force-be-damned battlefleet to break that blockade!"
"Sir, yes, sir!" Barquan replies with a salute. Mara gets her first glimpse of the veteran commander hiding within her master.

"Welcome aboard the Glory of Alderaan. I am Admiral Kavion Ralter." says an aging male lion. "The Azure Starburst Fleet is at your command, General Hunter."

OOC: It's nothing major, just chop off the 'er' when the Admiral is saying his fleet is at Matt's command. I also suggest you look over what you type before submitting it. Every little bit helps when spellcheck doesn't work.
