Savage snapped his head around immediately after hearing the word "Jedi!" only to see a red/orange explosion blossum in midair sending the traitorous sorceror flying backwards, causing a smirk of delight under his helmet. He crouched down low over to Bentlys position, tapping him lightly on the shoulder as he passed.
Savage: You, my friend, are gettting one helluva promotion when we get back... Alright MOVE OUT!
Savage motioned his troops over, as they finally duck into the alley and to cover from the blasts above, as he kneels beside a wall, Savage begins to comm command...
Savage: C'mon answer...

(( Alright, we're going to have to look into setting up a posting order, so we're not stepping on each others' toes as far as actions go. I propose the following: myself, Cyberpaladin, Savage, Marcus. ))
Private Jondd was inwardly disappointed in the result of his grenade. While he had done what looked to be lethal damage to the villainous Jedi, he had honestly expected more from her. Bentley felt let down by the ease of the encounter. So much for the "Great Defenders of the Galaxy" line, he thought. Everything felt so completely surreal.
A gloved paw on his shoulder brought the fox back to reality. He gave only a slight nod in acknowledgment as he was congratulated by the lieutenant, regaining his bearings in less than a second. He provided a small amount of fire for the retreating soldiers, moving back with the rear guard towards the alleyway. The glint of silver caught his eye, though, and he considered going for the round, metallic object. After a thought, he realised that it was not worth the risk of collecting, and he rationalized that it would still be there later. Otherwise, he merely maintained vanguard for the storm troopers in the alley.

ooc: Ready to begin.
Zahra Nura, a siamese cat studying to become a doctor, noticed her Jedi friend getting caught in the blast. Though not part of the armed resistance, she immedeately rushed towards Atrakus to aid her. Upon reaching her, she notices that the wounds are severe. Saving Atrakus will put to the test all that she had learned in medical school.

Savage is still atempting to contact his superiors, As blasts hit the edges of the alleyway sending rock and debris flying....
Savage: ...I repeat this is VK-903, we are under attack by enemy snipers!! Requesting support!
Savage pauses for a moment, until a voice finally answers.
Comm: This is Central Command, go ahead VK-903
Savage: We are under heavy attack at rally point Delta, requesting reinforcements! We have enemy snipers, and crowd is beginning to riot.
Comm: Roger that, reinforcements are already en route, in the mean time try to do anything to help the situation.
Savage clicks off his comm as a pair of LAAT gunships swoop overhead, as they overshoot the college, they turn around coming back. On their second pass, their cannons open up on the b uilding opposite Savage's unit, blasting the first few floors into oblivion and silencing the enemy guns.
Savage: Now's our chance! Run back to the LZ and regroup with the rest of the unit! Then we'll get these dissidents for good!
The squad dashes out of the alley, now weaving through fleeing students and knocking others out of their way, making a path towards a Battalion of Stormtroopers beginning to assemble....

Atrakus: Estar, Nura, you two need to get out of here. My wounds are to serious. My time here will be over soon. While I live, I will fight to avenge all my brother and sister Jedi who have perished. Please go, your destinies lay elsewhere, not to die here.

Private Bently Jondd pressed his back up against the duracrete wall of the alley he and the rest of the squad had taken refuge in from the hostile fire. The fox could but watch as the cover was slowly worn to fragments by the sheer volume of fire focused on his position. Acting as vanguard, he waited for a brief respite in the fire to return on the assailants with some of his own, ducking back behind the duracrete as the traitors once more opened up on him.
A slight smile formed as he watched the air support roll into the area. His eyes fallowed their loop around the main building of the college before laying fire into the enemy position. He gave the fireguard of his rifle a slight squeeze at witnessing the almost complete cease of fire.
Private Jondd held at the corner, keeping an eye out for any armed parties at his angle as the remainder of the squad left the cover of the alleyway. With the last trooper gone, Bently took tailing position and followed, making his way past running personages of all species. It had just been a matter of time before the improvised explosives were brought out, though.
“Grenade!” shouted the vulpine as a small cylinder, like those used by the CIS during the Clone Wars, landed between the two troopers ahead of him. With too little time to react, both troopers were killed as a mixture of concussive force and high-velocity durasteel cut them down. Shielded by the other trooper, Bently was only sent to the ground by the blunt force of another body impacting his.
Laying there a moment, he gathered back his breath and the situation; he wagered that the remainder of the squad counted him among the dead. Further, he noted damage affecting his MFTAS and communication systems. Pushing the body atop him and rising, the fox quickly made his way to a more secure position in the rubble of the buildings from which the fire had been taken. He knew there was a good chance not everyone in the building was dead, but he also figured that he could pick up munitions from the dead should he run low holding for the reinforcements due to arrive.

Savage was panting by the time the remainder of his squad reached the staging area, even his stormtrooper fit body was weary. His unit had been devastated by the latest attack, and Private Jondd was MIA... But he was a resourceful trooper, he couldn't be dead. Now he had more important things to pay attention to...
The entire Company was regrouping with reinforcements and forming units, the crowd that had started as a peaceful protest was quickly turning into a riot. A march down the campus of the college would stop that. Savage took his position at the front of his unit, as the company formed into a block formation. The Captain gave the order, and they began to march towards the crowd, weapons on kill...

Atrakus: By the Force! Their killing the protestors!
The wounded Jedi breaks free from here friends grip and charges at the oncoming Imperial troopers, the surviving rebels rallying behind her, with Estar at her side.
Estar: Todays a good day to die, 'General'!
Atrakus: With you, every day is a good day to die!
The rebels make contact with the Imperial soldiers. Atrakus takes the head off of one of the Imperial troopers and only cuts the armor of the one next to him. Estar fires several rounds into the neck of the nearest Imp. A group of rebels in stolen Katarn-class clone commando armor shows up, leading the Imps into thinking that reinforcements have arrived.

Private Jondd already knew that his armor was useless technologically, and pulled off his helmet for a breather. Collecting his thoughts, the fox figured on the next likely course of action. Separated and without a comlink, he thought to himself. Looking around, he decided to do his best to clear the building. Rifle carried at the ready, and stairs before him, the vulpine soldier began the task of checking for hostiles.
Fortune was with him that none were found until he reached the top floor, where the initial fire had come from. Ears perked for sounds, he moved as quietly as he could towards the door leading to the set of rooms and balconies. There were groans and cries from the far side that he could hear of the distant din of battle. He checked the blaster pack and noted that he had fewer than fifty bolts remaining. A frown formed on the vetran's face as he considered his options.
After a moment, the trooper used his blaster to cut the hinges on the door, kicking it down shortly after. He quickly and easily discharged a bolt into each body he found, ensuring that there were no survivors left to stir rebellion amongst the impressionable students that survived the affair. Rounding a corner, however, he ran straight into a lupine with arms full of medical supplies. The vulpine reacted quickly by pulling the trigger, only to hear a soft click as the blaster failed to fire; he had discharged the last bolts within the weapon.
The slightly larger lupine grinned and dropped the packets of bacta patches and such, pulling a vibroknife from his boot. Bently did likewise, taking up his melee weapon for use. A soft humming filled the room as they circled left and right, trying to gain a position of advantage before leaving an opening to attack. After several tense circles, the lupine forewent waiting and made his attack, lunging forward to impale the fox upon his blade. Bently struck out for the lupine's arm and countered with a stab of his own, catching the wolf between two ribs with his blade. With a quick twist and a pull, Bently freed his weapon and removed the fight from the wolf; the following coup de grace was simple and effective.
Private Jondd realized that he was in a rather tight spot now: he had no working blaster and knew that more hostiles could be expected. Practicality took over and the vulpine found amidst the rubble and corpses a working DL-30 Compact and a Prax Arms model AFD-45 Sniper Blaster rifle. A grin formed as he decided to use the weapons of his enemies against them. Moving precariously out onto the weakened overhang, the fox knelt to support the longer rifle on his arm. Carefully gazing down the scope to the battle, he smiled slight at what he saw for a moment.
Commando reinforcements, he mused silently. He adjusted the scope towards what appeared to be the leader of the hostile force (Estar), before a thought dawned on him: there had not been any commandos in the teams embarked for the landing. Those brilliant bastards, he whispered to himself as he made the realization. Unfortunately, he had no way to communicate the truth with his comlink destroyed. He hoped that someone below would notice the ruse as he had. Weighing his options again, he rezeroed in on the leading non-Jedi and inhaled. Holding his breath, he depressed the trigger of the rifle, wanting the bolt to fly true for the center of the male's back.
Rule number one of marksmanship, Bently recited to himself as he shouldered the rifle and climbed off the teetering rubble, never stay in one place longer than needed. Following his training, the fox quickly and quietly started towards another section of the rubble, wanting to keep a good vantage point on the conflict.

Estar collapses to the ground as his spine is severed by the sniper shot. He is paralized from the waist down. He reaches for the blaster he dropped, but an Imperial trooper kicks it out of reach and lands his boot on Estar's wrist.

Estar: Murglak son of a bantha broke my wrist.
The wounded rebel looks around and sees Zahra standing near him.
Estar: Thanks for the save, but there is nothing that can be done for me. I'm damaged goods, at least let me die a soldier. I'm giving you command of the troops, now go. That's an order 'Captain'!
The dying officer pulls a grenade from his pocket and sets it for a five minute delay. A group of Imperial troopers are on their way to take him as a prisoner.
Estar: Zahra, go now! Live... live a long life, start a family. Just don't die here, not today!
With that, he activates the explosive device and keeps it in his hand.

Zahra runs towards some cover. She pauses to catch her breath. She feels a tap on her shoulder, and turns around in panic, but soon sees that it's one of the other students from the protest.
(I'm leaving it open for someone to role-play the other student.)

The scene had turned to complete chaos, blaster fire lancing out from the advancing Stormtrooper phalynx as they marched down the plaza. Students ran for cover, others throwing rocks to slow the marching unit down. But the group continued on, firing at anything that moved....
Savage quickly raised his E-11, zapping a student, who dashed out into the street with a rock in his hand. "Not even a challenge" he grumbled to himself as he led his unit in the march towards the convering crowd. As he glanced off into an alley, he notices a women, leaning over a wounded man. It took a few seconds, but he then recognized the face. He had seen it before when he was arresting the traitorious cadet, it was a rebel!
Savage: C'mon men! Lets get out of this "parade" and get some real work done!
He motions to his men, rushing out of formation and into the alley towards the wounded rebel, just as he pulls a small object out of his coat...

Savage didn't realize what the object was until it was too late, the detonator explodes, sending him flying across the alley into a wall with a sickening crunch as his armor crushes into the brick building. He lies, pain ridden on the ground, as his helmet HUD and equipment one by one short out. He falls uncouncious.

(( So much for the posting order we had...
EDIT: Also, just a note, since it's too late for anyone to do anything about it now, but... A blaster bolt to the spine would kill, just like a blaster bolt to anywhere else on the torso. Sorry, Marcus, hon, but that's just how things work with 'em.
Just so y'all know, I do hold PCs to the same rules that NPCs follow. Stormtroopers fall in one or two blasts, so too will main characters. ))
Private Jondd's jaw dropped as he saw the red-orange blossom of the explosive from his new vantage point. A rather audible growl escaped from his throat as he scoped in on the carnage, looking for survivors amongst the hostiles to apply pain and death to. He already could tell that more of his unit had been taken down by the blast, and he would mourn the dead later.
Bently sighed as he saw few targets in the area anymore, and none worth wasting the position he had. He knew that he would likely be fired upon as a hostile if he opened up on the commandos that had shown up, and he sighed. A set of orders at this point would have been heaven for the fox; inaction had a firm hold on his paws.
After a moment, he decided to throw his self-preservation instinct aside and lined the sites up on the highest-ranked Rebel commando he could see, putting the crosshairs dead between the shoulders of the figure. He squeezed the trigger once and began to relocate, expecting to see a hail of fire fill the site he had just occupied.
Now begins a dangerous game of cat and mouse, thought the fox and he searched for the next good vantage point.
