ooc: Ok, I know that in Revenge of the Sith they showed alot of the space battle above Coruscant, but not as much as I wanted. Anyway, I figured it might be cool to have a fleet battle RP that could be part of that battle. Each person interested post their ship task forces and which faction they are from, and their COs. The VSD Freedom, having lost her bridge, is being towed by the Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers Shield of Badgen and Republic's Savior. The entire group enters the Coruscant system in the heart of the battle, the LSD Enraged Aiwha collides with a Separatist warship as it exits hyperspace and explodes. |

ooc: Sweet! More space battles! Time for Altessa to get vengence upon the Republic. What would be an appropriate amount of ships to bring to bare against the Republic be?

ooc: Yes, I know I don't name my ships anywhere close to as well as others here; the way I figure it, why should I give a name to something under these conditions? It's not as if this is a major ongoing campaign, or that the ships will last longer than a few posts.

General Amelia Post leaps into the air and lands in the cockpit of her starfighter and prepares to take off and lead her fighter group, the Golden Eight.

Altessa, in her command dreadnaught, begins launching her plans.
CG-3, CG-5, and BC-2 will stay and act as guards, as well as both carriers.
TF-GC-1/2/3 with TF-BC-1/2 and TF-PF-1 and TF-GC-4/5/6 with TF-BC-3/4 and TF-PF-2 will form hunter squadrons, going after key ships.

Amelia: Gold Leader to squadron, form up on me. General Grievous' flagship is dead ahead! Lock S-foils in attack position!
Gold 2: Roger that, General.
The starfighter squadron is within range of the Invisible Hand as General Grievous shuttle approuches the hangerbay. Palpatine is aboard.
Amelia: Hold your fire! the Chancelor is aboard that thing! Enemy shuttle has just entered the bay, follow me in!
The Golden Eight rush to rescue Palpatine, Gold Four explodes as the shields come up, by the remainder crash land on the hanger deck. General Post and her clone wingmates leap out of their craft, weapons at the ready. The cyborg monster General Grievous appears from his transport.

General Grievous: "Foolish Jedi, I will grant you a warrior's death! Prepare yourselves!"
General Grievous activates his four lightsabers and prepares for battle, as the hanger bay's droids begin firing at the Jedi. Chancellor Palpatine is rushed out towards the interior of the ship.

Gold 3: Yes ma'am!
The group of clones prepare to fight Grievous as General Post dashes down the corridor after Palpatine.

General Grievous notices that the Jedi commander is going after the Seperatists' prize. He begins to persue the Jedi, while the droids engage the clone troopers.

General Post turns down the corridor and finds herself in an ambush. Several destroyer droids have her surrounded. But they do not shot to kill, they are waiting for Grievous to arrive. Meanwhile Post's flagship the Blade of Freedom is rammed by an abandoned Sep cruiser's remains.

General Grievous arrives where the Jedi is located.
General Grievous: "Doomed Jedi, tell me your name, so that I may properly recall who I defeated this day!"
Outside, Hunter Group one (of the new Seperatist ships) engages the Blade of Freedom while Hunter Group two attacks the escort ships.

Amelia: I am Amelia Post, member of the Jedi Order and a general in the Grand Army of the Republic. And you won't kill me this day 'tin can'.
The female Jedi uses a Force push to slam Grievous into the group of destroyer droids and then leaps into the elevator shaft and lands on top of one of the lift cars as it heads down.

General Grievous: "Jedi coward! I offered you a chance to die with honor! You will regret your choice!"
General Grievous orders a nearby maintainance droid to make the lift car come back up.

The lift stops and the young Jedi leaps to the next one. She then throws a line to a pipe on the shaft wall and swings to the hatch three levels below Grievous. Meanwhile it the hanger, the clones are doing their best to defend themselves, but soon fall to superior numbers. Amelia Post cuts her way through a group of battle droids as she dashes for the cruisers engine room.

General Grievous: "After her!"
General Grievous heads toward the engine room. He also orders that the blast doors be sealed on that level to slow down the Jedi and prevent her escape.

A blast rocks the ship and the young Jedi falls, a blast door slams shut on her legs, crushing them and trapping her. As she struggles, the spirit of her dead former master appears to her.
Jedi Spirit: Amelia, your time on this plane is almost up. But fear not, I will be hear to guide you to the afterlife.
The wounded Jedi looks at her lost master with tears in her eyes. She knows that Grievous will arrive soon.
