"Right." says Keith as he expertly lands the Silverwind. A crowd of survivors sees the ship and starts to rush their way. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

"You're not the only one. Set the buzzer for Stun and have it deployed and ready!" Kari orders. "And call for additional rescue ships!"
OOC: The 'buzzer' is that nasty little blaster/laser cannon the Millennium Falcon uses on the snowtroopers of Blizzard Force on Hoth. The one mounted to the Silverwind has been modified with a stun setting (more like the 'heavy stun' setting of a Type II phaser than the traditional stun setting of a blaster).
EDIT: The 'buzzer' does have a stun setting, according to the Owner's Workshop Guide to the Millennium Falcon...

OOC: So it could take down a enraged wookiee?
IC: Several people in the crowd try to swarm the Silverwind before it is fully done landing. Keith and Jade are at the main ramp, stun weapons at the ready. Keith has a stun cannon mounted on a tripod while Jade has a new built in stun blaster.

OOC: The wookiee would certainly feel it. Also, the entrance ramp on the Silverwind hasn't been lowered yet as a security precaution for just this sort of occasion.
IC: The 'buzzer' goes to work on the people who tried to rush the ship before she'd settled onto her landing gear. The blaster's stun mode prevents a massacre, but at least a dozen people are dropped, unconscious, by the blaster before everybody else gets the point that they need to be patient and let the ship get settled before they could board.

Keith and Jade wait for the ramp to lower. Their stun weapons are at the ready. The R6 unit known as Hawkbat is ready as well.

The ship is soon settled on her landing gear and the ramp lowers. Keith launches into a hurriedly prepared speech stating that additional rescue ships would be there soon and that while this ship could only take a few people at a time, they wouldn't break up families if they had a choice in the matter and also thanking them for their patience and asking them to remain patient. It works, the crowd remains relatively calm.

Within half an hour everyone is evacuated by the Silverwind and 6 other vessels.
