A Pleasant Surprise

Back in January, I went to FURther CONfusion in San Jose, just about an hour or so away from where I live. On that day, the day that I went there, I bid on a piece of artwork. Sadly, I had to leave early, so I could not stay to see if I won the bid; I didn't expect to.

Yesterday, I got a call from the people at FURther CONfusion, asking if there was any trouble, because I had yet to pay them for the piece of artwork.

I sent the check to pay for it to them a few hours ago.

I can't remember the artist's name, but the image of what the picture is, is crystal clear in my mind; it's of an anthropormorphic cheetah lady in an ancient Egyptian dress, walking two regular jackals.

I'm currently awaiting the arrival of four prints I ordered from Michele Light, so I know the feeling.
