Before the couple can respond, they and Jesic are ambushed by Peace Brigade members.
Peace Brigade Leader: "Freeze!"
Meanwhile, Mirdala and Nera arrive at the park.
Nera: "Odd, this is where they said that they would be."
In the distance, Mirdala see a small group of people, apparently surrounding others. "I don't like the looks of that over there. Think we should help?"
Nera: "Sure, not like they're Peace Brigade; just a bunch of thugs, judging from the casual clothing."

A grey wolf named Tray Tor, whom is a member of the Peace Brigade, pushes the pregnant female to the ground. The womans husband retaliates by punching Tor in the face. Tray Tor pulls out a boot knife and lodges it into the man's rib cage.

Mirdala fires a blast from her pocket blaster at who she percieves is the leader (Tray Tor); the blast hits him in the face, causing him to howl in pain. Nera gets out her pocket blaster as well.
Mirdala: "You thugs better back off... mom?" Mirdala sees her mother collapsed on the ground. At the same time, Nera notices that the two others surrounded are her friends. It is unknown whom is more angry at this point.

The now cowardly wolf stumbs around
Tray Tor: Kill... KILL THE ONE WHO DID THIS TO ME!!!
Several members of the Peace Brigade turn towards Mirdala and Nera. A massive black bear raises a vibro-sword and takes a swing at the two females.

Mirdala and Nera dodge the reckless attack. They then try to interpose themselves between the Peace Brigade members and their wounded loved ones. The bear takes another swing at Mirdala, but she dodges and gets another shot off on him. Nera fires at another Peace Brigade member who is trying to ready his blaster.

The black bear recoils as he is shot "below the belt". He collapses in pain and drops the sword. The Peace Brigade member Near fires at drops like a fly as the bolt strikes between the eyes, but another PB member takes Nera from behind and holds a knife to her neck.

Nera: "Damn!" She drops her weapon in shock.
Mirdala aims her weapon at the Peace Brigade member, but does not fire. "Let her go."

Mirdala: "You do realize that if you kill her, there's nothing stopping me from killing you." Before Mirdala can drop her weapon, the Peace Brigade member experiences a great deal of pain in his arm, causing him to drop his knife; the pregnant lady stands behind him, armed with the knife that Tray Tor had. Nera breaks free, and then Mirdala fires the killing blow on the Peace Brigade member.

The tiger falls to the ground, the back of his skull missing. A Mandalorian warrior in gloss black armor and several other Mandalorian warriors decend on the surviving Peace Brigade members and take them on in hand-to-hand combat.
Lead Mandalorian (Gloss black armor): Well, it looks like we got here just in time.
The lead Mandalorian, known as Jag, sinks his hunting knife into the stomach of one of the PB members and pulls the blade up, making a long, deep gash in the lion's torso.

The last of the Peace Brigade members fall in the melee. Nera and her pregnant friend rush over to help the other friend who was stabbed.
Mirdala: "Thanks for the help. Damn Peace Brigade doesn't care whom they have to butcher in order to please their damned Vong masters."

Nera and her pregnant friend realize that the pregnant friend's husband probably will die if he doesn't get help soon.
Pregnant Friend: "Can any of you offer assistance to my husband? He's been stabbed pretty badly."

Mirdala then approaches her mother, who is still on the ground. "Mother?"

Jag kneels down next to Jesic and inspects her.
Jag: I found a large pair of bite marks. Looks like fangs did it. I think she's been poisoned.
ooc: I was thinking that down the line, since Jag is about the same age as Jesic, they might get together.

The male tumberwolf picks up Jesic in his arms and starts to walk in the direction of the Med Center.
