The shipwright known as Ta'alib Stardrives is a relatively small manufacturer of spacecraft. Many of their early transport designs had been commissioned for colonization efforts in 1823 BBY.

 The Twin Blizzard Heavy Fighter was produced by Ta'alib Stardrives 3 years prior to the Trade Federation blockade of Naboo as a system defense/patrol craft. Each Twin Blizzard had a crew of six Ta'alibs and two astromechs, three organics and one astromech per pod assembly. During the Clone Wars, a small group of radicals on Shinju smuggled 2 shipments of new Twin Blizzards to the Confederacy of Independent Systems in hopes that the CIS would oust the gynarchal government. Most of the populace of Shinju however sided with the Republic and all but a quarter of the remaining Twin Blizzards had been gifted to the Grand Army of the Republic, while the remaining quarter stayed within Ta'alib space as part of the Ta'alib Militia and Ta'alib Space Navy. |
