IC: Kylo re-ignites his cross guard lightsaber and attacks Matt.
OOC: I could see Matt's armor being a beskar/cortosis blend and his jumpsuit being a cortosis weave so he is completely immune to lightsaber attacks.

Also, remember in The Phantom Menace how Darth Maul ignited his saberstaff? That’s what Matt did with his.

Matt easily deflects Kylo’s blade with his own, not wasting his breath on taunting the younger wolf dog.

Kylo starts to Force choke Matt, when an energized bolt from Chewie's bowcaster strikes Kylo in the leg.

Matt doesn’t even flinch at this. He takes another swipe at Kylo Ren with his lightsaber.

Matt's swipe hits the leg that not long before took a bowcaster hit, forcing Kylo to loose balance for a moment, before he does a Force assisted back flip away from Matt and darts off of the bridge, as he reaches the end, he cuts through his end of the bridge, causing it to start it's collapse.

Starkiller Base is starting to rip itself apart as Kylo and Rey are fighting. Jaing Skirata and the other Mandalorians are starting to evacuate. They have taken several First Order officers prisoner for interrogation at a later point.

Rey and Finn survive their encounter with Kylo Ren and are picked up by Han piloting the Millennium Falcon. “That was too close!” Rey pants to Matt, who had hauled her aboard the freighter.
“Not bad for your first time using a lightsaber, girl,” Matt rumbles.

Matt uses the Millennium Falcon’s comm system to contact the Aay’han. “I’ll meet you on Mandalore once I feel the Resistance is able to to handle itself,” he says to Jaing.
